Quite honestly its a complete disgrace how they handle the sacking. They should have informed him they should never have let him do the interview with know his job was gone.

Well, I was arguing with my brother how about how much blame he deserved just before we received the notice about him being fired. I’m glad this decision was made. I know the truth isn’t so black-and-white but is hard to defend the fact that we were solid contenders with Stefano Pioli and whatever this is now.

@@xkcez hard agree, pioli was the bottom of the barrel, but fonseca showed us the floor under the barrel and i don't want to see what's downstairs

I believe it's not just Fonseca's fault,it had to do something with players also.
Ibra was the one who brought Emerson,Morata,Pavlovic and if they kicked out Maldini, they should kick him out too since Fonseca did not get a say on transfers, and with him get new owners. He knew what positions we lacked, but with the club's standards,he could've done a better job this summer.
I agree that they sometimes had no gameplan. They looked lazy in the small games like against Cagliari,Parma,Torino and only turned up to big games like the RM and Inte.
I also feel like Fonseca failed to discipline the team like in that game vs Fiorentina where Pulisic should've taken both pens and gave the armband to the wrong guy(Theo).
Overall,we could've had a worse manager(Lopetegui),but we need to stop looking for managers and players that make Milan look like a mid table team
He did at least get us a win in the derby and against RM :)

We've had the players for years, the management backed fonseca up with his transfers and we're 8th because of him, the players are more than good enough to win pretty much everything, not even that bum pioli could stop this team from winning something.
fonseca CHOSE emerson and CHOSE to play him, (might've) CHOSEn fofana (who has been ok tbf), CHOSE abraham, CHOSE to antagonize some of our best players, CHOSE to play youth players who are clearly not ready.
It's the mngt's fault for bringing him in, but the rest was his responsibility, he was backed, supported by fans and didn't deliver and faced the consequences of not being fit to manage a serie a team, nevermind Milan.

@Burpingtogheter I thought I heard in a press that Ibra wanted Morata and other players I thought transfers were his only?Anyways,I still think Ibra should be kicked out(which will never happen)because his ideals are gonna crush Milan
I think Fon benched players like leao and theo to discipline them and he had the right so because their performance was dropping and knowing theo he prob had an attitude

@@Milannnista i didn't include morata because i know he was planned way haed (they knew giroud would leave), emerson and abraham are 100% his tranfers, fofana probably is too but i doubt strahinja is, benching leao and theo was necessary, publicly critiquing them and stubbornly playing jimenez and okafor in their place for so long wasn't necessary at all.
Ibra is nothing but a face, he's not making decisions, it's clear for all to see, the americans are making the decision, THEIR ideals are ruining Milan.

@Burpingtogheter I knew I watched that one press with ibra that they knew who was the striker they wanted.I think they originally intented to get zirkzee, but he refused to join,so they got morata last couple days if im not mistaken?
I didn't watch the whole press but that's why I concluded it was Ibra's transfers only
The only words Fonseca had up until that point was about his style of play or smt
I agree about the americans part but no one bigger or more righteous or with better ideals is gonna buy the club probably most of serie a clubs are ownes by americans anyways

I disagree, sergio has never coached a club the size of Milan, what this team needs now (and needed in the summer) is a proven manager that can actually set up a winning team, in this regard he is too similar to fonseca.
Fonseca should've never been hired, Milan has the best team in the serie a and one of the best in europe, doing worse than pioli was unthinkable but he's somehow done it, he's made a mess of the squad by needlessly antagonizing some of our best players (continued to play his buddy emerson despite the latter proving time and time again why the Captain is irreplaceable, theo and leao...), he has the balls to go against these players but has done so unnecessarily, he's frankly a bad tactician whose biggest achievement will be having managed Milan at all.
Sadly that last part rings true for sergio as well, i hope his man magament will be better, if he can connect with the players and adapt to them tactically, we might finally see performances worthy of Milan.
The team has been here for years, is the manager finally here? that's the question i have for anyone interested in the world of Milan, pioli was dogshit, fonseca was somehow even worse, sergio is a massive question mark for me.
