Well there's two types of meme rap he's talking about ones that blow up from memes (lil pump). then there's meme rap as a sub genre (lil dicky and shotgun willy). meme rap as a sub genre is good cause it's more focused on the entertainment factor. that's just the lane it's in and it's better than "most" rap today simply because it has creativity putting aside the lackluster rhyming.

I agree with everything the guy said, except I think he said that each artist of the new wave that he's referring to sounds completely different, which I don't agree. I think it's almost undeniable to say that a lot of these new artists sound extremely similar, however I suppose we might all listen to stuff differently.
