This has to be my favorite game of all time. I love every single aspect, the music, the weapons, the bosses, the level design, THE LORE. it's an outstanding work of art.
+Harald Ulrichs I beat Ds3 and came back to this after having a hard time with it. Made it through easy in a week on new game plus. And it's probably in my top 5 games of all time now. There needs to be a sequel

I played DS3 before BB. but I prefer BB...I hope they'll make a longer story mode too....the chalice dungeons were an amazing idea. but without them the game is really short...now I'm gonna play the DLC wich looks very good.... Ps. the "final" bossfight of Bloodborne is Perfect (sorry for my english)

Black Diablos I'm i the only one who didn't like Ludwig's fight? i loved his soundtrack and the build up to it was amazing but the actual fight itself i thought wasn't as good as some of the others like Gherman, ptumerian descendant, queen yharnam pretty much all the humanoid/hunter bosses are where bloodborne shines imo
Just as a little note, if you look carefully on Ludwig's (and yes, it is confirmed that the new boss shown is Ludwig) back when they're fighting him you can see he has a silver great sword that does not look like Ludwig's Holy Blade. Basically implying the LHB in the main game is just a mass produced version given to church members and not the original sword. This means we might get a different great sword for killing Ludwig.

I am old and have played lots and lots of great and legendary games. Pacman in a arcade, Zelda on NES to the modern day greats lie Witcher 3, GTA 5, and GOW. In my humble opinion The Old Hunters DLC is the greatest piece of content I've ever played. Every zone has a feel of dread and every boss is iconic. The music and polished gameplay are next level.This DLC is Masterclass in game design.
I was expecting like 3 weapons, we get about 8+... This could not have exceeded my expectations more, and a focus on the historic lire for the story is a much better idea than new threats being introduced. I mean we all want answers to the billion questions about the lore that we have!

+Louie fairly long, there are 3 bosses and 1 optional boss, and the maps are pretty huge like they are in the original game, so it takes a long time to explore it all. plus it gives you huge insight (haha) as to what happens to different characters within the original bloodborne world. highly recommend getting the dlc

I come back just to remember how excited I was to play this. Every time From releases a trailer, I go nuts. Bloodborne, Old Hunters, DS3,, Ashes of Arianderl, Ringed City, Sekiro, Elden Ring, ALL OF THEM. I even remember before that watching the DS2 trailers over and over and over again. Never stop making games, FromSoft. You’re honestly the best company at what you do
they dont even show Orphan of Kos and barely show Maria, so i think Messmer (the fire guy) from Elden ring dlc trailer wont even be the main or hardest boss in that DLC
Miyazaki said that there won't be any additional ending after the DLC, which I interpret as "No Miquella ending", leaving the possibility that he would be the final boss of the DLC, not to mention that he said that there are some optional bosses comparable to Malenia. I think Messmer would be located at the middle of the DLC as gatekeeper of the second half, unless he actually one of those optional super bosses.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again; this game is an absolute masterpiece and will probably remain my favorite for years to come; the amazing storyline, soundtrack paired with incredible combat and bosses just makes this one of the best games ever made

There used to be rumours going on that the actual bloodborne story was supposed to focus on the hunter's descend into beasthood but Sony's decision to rush the game out meant that the story had to be cut out.

I watched a lot of youtube videos to help me with tips and tricks. I used the videos to locate all the cords. I'm not sure I would have beat the game without the helpful videos.
Jason Hunt Yeah, I went in pretty blind so I didn't even know there were any secrets related to the cords. After I beat the game, I went back and checked the internet to find what I missed, and I missed quite a bit, including the cords.

Dumahs Assassin Even if he isn't young, you may meet him when he's freed from Moon Presence, thus at full power. If it's set after the end of the game, Gehrman is "dead", only you don't die in a dream, you simply wake up. Based on Ludwig and the description from Sony, it looks like numerous great hunters and important historical figures didn't die, but were broken from the dream and got ensnared in another dimension entirely. Time Travel is not unheard of it Souls, so my theory is that you are using some form of "door" to go to a pocket of space where time is essentially frozen, where that point in time is endlessly looped and the souls of the dead are ensnared, perhaps without being aware of it. This would let you speak to the long-dead and uncover Yharnum's history AS IT HAPPENED CENTURIES AGO. Maybe that isn't what will happen, but that's my theory and it would be awesome.
New weapons: wooden stick/Saw Hammer? , Flaming hammer?, Saw Claw?, bow and arrow, Threaded Saw Sword?, True Beast Mode?, Magical mind Ball?, Sword and shield, Iron Pike on a stick?. well thats quite a lot. Probably alot more where that came from. please let there be the Dragon Slayer!
the dragon slayer needs to be in this game !! :) it could be a ultra great sword which buffs instead of transforming and the buff makes you unable to die for a short period of time but you take damage after the effect wares off you die if you have no health left you know like the berserker armor.
I can’t describe my love for this game. It took me at least 3 years on and off to finally beat the game and once I finished the DLC, it become my favourite game of all time. What a spectacular game genre that FromSoft has created. I’ll seriously play ever release from here on out.
To be perfectly honest I hope he doesn't make another Bloodborne, he has reached his peak with this game, I can't see how he could do any better, also I'd love to see him try something new.

they dont even show Orphan of Kos and barely show Maria, so i think Messmer (the fire guy) from Elden ring dlc trailer wont even be the main or hardest boss in that DLC

Miyazaki said that there won't be any additional ending after the DLC, which I interpret as "No Miquella ending", leaving the possibility that he would be the final boss of the DLC, not to mention that he said that there are some optional bosses comparable to Malenia. I think Messmer would be located at the middle of the DLC as gatekeeper of the second half, unless he actually one of those optional super bosses.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again; this game is an absolute masterpiece and will probably remain my favorite for years to come; the amazing storyline, soundtrack paired with incredible combat and bosses just makes this one of the best games ever made

There used to be rumours going on that the actual bloodborne story was supposed to focus on the hunter's descend into beasthood but Sony's decision to rush the game out meant that the story had to be cut out.

I watched a lot of youtube videos to help me with tips and tricks. I used the videos to locate all the cords. I'm not sure I would have beat the game without the helpful videos.

Yeah, I went in pretty blind so I didn't even know there were any secrets related to the cords. After I beat the game, I went back and checked the internet to find what I missed, and I missed quite a bit, including the cords.

That figure at 0:55 holds a VERY strong resemblance, and he was intentionally put in the background to be harder to see, so that's possible.

If it's set after the end of the game, Gehrman is "dead", only you don't die in a dream, you simply wake up. Based on Ludwig and the description from Sony, it looks like numerous great hunters and important historical figures didn't die, but were broken from the dream and got ensnared in another dimension entirely.
Time Travel is not unheard of it Souls, so my theory is that you are using some form of "door" to go to a pocket of space where time is essentially frozen, where that point in time is endlessly looped and the souls of the dead are ensnared, perhaps without being aware of it. This would let you speak to the long-dead and uncover Yharnum's history AS IT HAPPENED CENTURIES AGO.
Maybe that isn't what will happen, but that's my theory and it would be awesome.

The only reason I haven't covered PVP is a lack of playstation plus.

it could be a ultra great sword which buffs instead of transforming and the buff makes you unable to die for a short period of time but you take damage after the effect wares off you die if you have no health left you know like the berserker armor.

Best game of all time. Lore, game play, atmosphere, fighting michanics and horror. Thank you miazaki for being the best.
I can’t describe my love for this game. It took me at least 3 years on and off to finally beat the game and once I finished the DLC, it become my favourite game of all time. What a spectacular game genre that FromSoft has created. I’ll seriously play ever release from here on out.

This DLC was an absolute embarrassment of riches. I can’t think of anything else in its range or scope that comes close to offering what this one DLC did. Modern Masterpiece.
