This series is a universal treasure! I feel so sneaky happy watching a work of art made 30'ish years ago about to go viral. Insert millions of hearts. This soap ROCKS!!!
22:53 I love how quickly and completely Lizzie changes her mind sometimes. She goes from one extreme to the other, all it takes is someone giving her the right perspective.
Haha, I know when someone's joking! They have the bike on a trailer for the close-ups of her, then the long shots of her riding off has a stunt bloke driving. I know an actor who blagged his way into a breakthrough role on TV here in the UK by saying he could ride a bike when he'd only been on one once before. He was relieved to find out it had a sidecar attached to it when he went for his first practice run!
@@ians5597 That sounds like it could have been the actor Paul Bown, who played the character of Malcolm Stoneway in the late '80s/early '90s British sitcom, Watching.
I don't think Lizzie can be forced into Long Term Care. She can still care for herself. She just needs to be with caring people. Judy's Halfway House could keep Lizzie useful helping cook, light cleaning, making coffee & tea to sell etc... You just don't put people out to pasture. Staying active as possible is the most healthy thing a person can do. If you don't use it, you lose it.
They never explained anything to Lizzie about her stay at a geri home. And Ericka pretty much throws Lizzie under the bus on this. I don't know why Davo does that to Lizzie, but she seems to do it a lot. She asks Lizzie the most obscure questions without offering any explanation why. Then, when Lizzie doesn't give her the answer she's looking for, Davo tells her that she could have had an afternoon out; an early parole; or tea with the queen or a nooner with Tom Jones, or whatever the hell it is. Hell could be tea with Tom Jones and a nooner with the queen. Anyhow, Davo always seem to screw poor Lizzie over someway or another.

"Corrr! Mrs Morris! Look at your face! Don't tell me Fergo's been at it again" 😂🤣 As if The Freak would beat up someone who was her colleague 2 days ago. Just the thought of it makes me 😂😂😂
Meg should have realised that her job as an officer would have been in jeopardy. Surley she couldn't have expected to do the 72 hours and go straight back into being a screw.
Actually she stays a guard all the way to the last episode only character in episode 1 that's in the finale and also I almost every episode she missed like 30 the entire almost 700
I was so happy to see Tony bash Spud. He deserves it. It'll be interesting to see how the murder storyline goes. I'm sure Joan is a red herring, since I know she's in the show a long time yet. But the gloves make her seem like suspect number one.
And there seemed to be some foreshadowing when told Chrissie, "I thought she was going to break my neck", right after the Freak threw her down on the bed by the neck.
@@spectrumlocalb191 Tony Berman is so freaking sexy. But, I wouldn't say he is the best looking guy on the show. Did you forget about Tony Reed & his tight jeans? He was sexy as hell.
Fun and interesting to see Meg in prison, but of course she would most likely be fined for something so minor, and certainly would not be sent to max security prison, least of all the one she works in! But I'm willing to go along with it, if only for the interesting angle.
they send all kinds of minor crims to our max...and people on remand... mixing with murderers, kidnappers, drug traffickers... Yeah its right on-board for PCBH writers. :-/
I tend to agree that a fine would have been more common, I was found in contempt in 1986 and fined $110. But again, it was an interesting storyline, so I will buy it.

And I'm going to tell Lizzie now, that it strikes me that an old people's home would be WAY easier to escape from. Just get up in the night and walk out through your patio/French windows and you're pretty much done.

1:30 - So hang on - Meg can't be sent to Barnhurst because (accordng to Erica) they can't accommodate short-term prisoners there. So why is Margo still at Wentworth? She was already doing a 10 year stretch at Barnhurst for armed robbery (and now probably manslaughter). Since it was Barnhurst that she escaped from, she should have been sent straight back there.

The next thing I imagine occuring is that Joan Ferguson is shocked and upset upon seeing Meg, and the first thing she says real seriously is, "Meg Jackson Morris!
