No. You should actually start with brotherhood because that's like the original story. I will recommend you to start with brotherhood then watch FMA. Don't forget to watch the movies.

Don't dtart with brotherhood. Start with the first one that came out in 2003. Brotherhood came out in 2007. It actually doesn't matter much, but i would start with just FMA since it came out first. :)

Monimoo Bag I also started with brotherhood first and now started with the original and you should probably consider watching it... It gives a ton more backstory and it definitely fills you in on a bunch of holes. Although you might not enjoy it as much, you won't regret watching it. : P
