Exact these rollers were used many decades ago, before the wallpaper appeared in Eastern Europe. This is how many people use to decorate their inside walls and homes.

If you do this on walls, how do you get the top of wall without getting on ceiling? And how will pattern be at top?Will there be a space? Any demos on walls?
You just need to tape off the ceiling and yes, there will be a small gap at the ceiling line. Many of the patterns can be use more in a random application so then you don't have to worry about the ceiling line. I will try and post a link to one that I did for Hometalk - rolling over stripes. I tried to apply the blue roller assembly to an already painted wall and it just smeared terribly and the blue roll wouldn’t roll smoothly. What did I do wrong?
Hello Sara - The rollers do not like a slick wall - so what type of paint did you have on the wall already? If it's gloss, you might need to help the roller roll - you are always more than welcome to call the studio for help as well - 714-269-4880

We a similar one in the 60s and it was easier and had its own tray
There have been many different versions of the rollers - these are pretty easy to use and create with!
