St Luigi Scrosoppi: Patron of football and those with AIDS & HIV (Feast - 5th October)

This priest of 19th century Udine, in north eastern Italy, became an Oratorian there with his brothers. Throughout the changes of 19th century political regimes, which sometimes brought the closure of the Oratory, he remained in place to care for God's people there.
