Yes and my opinion, better. My 2016 pirate blacks have the snubby toe like an elf shoe at certain angles

Got the 2022s. Seen the outsoles are different? Are the bottoms on 2022 going to rub off or wear off pretty easy? Ive seen beat pairs or used pairs where the bottoms are easily wore off

..it’s never been Black… it’s a dark navy…
and there’s no way to go down a half size in the OGs ..unless your TTS is a half size, then it makes sense

Are soles gonna wear out with the white paint coming off? I heard the OG the white comes off and u see it turn to the yellow rubber. I got the new pair wore them one day and the heel seemed to lose a little white tbh. Upsetting

My og pirate black are a size 9 I ordered these in a 9 too hopefully they stil fit the same

They don't, they fit snug af. I'm a tts 10.5 and the 11 I got fits snug

They OGs ran super big I'm a 10.5 and wear a 9 in v1s. The retros are a snug true to size.

To add on Eric's comment, my OG v1 pirate blacks are a 10 and fit perfectly and the new turtle doves are an 11 and fit good once I broke them in. (Usually a TTS 10.5)

Idk, I’m an 11, and got the OGs in a 10 and they fit snug. But I got a 10.5 in the moon rocks n those are perfect lol
