He dresses just like he makes his food. Looks simple, but is greatness. That's right, I saw that cheeky white sleeve under the fairly normal wind jacket.
***** when are you next in Broadway Market? I want to be your next taster... I promise I will be fair and award the maximum possible price!! (in exchange for a good tip!!)
Coming from someone that lives in America, I would pay 3-4 pounds for your sandwich, which translates to about $4-$6. Nice work, Busker! I look forward to your channel every Tuesday for a fresh dish :D
+alyn BLaZe I think it's more of the play on words that influence the people. "French", "classic" all that good stuff. Although fair play to him that's what most food establishments do.
+alyn BLaZe I have lived in France and Belgium (where this is a very common dish) and this would cost around 8 to 10 euro in a bar, but you'd get a salad on the side with it though.
Nice croque! That ham looks awesome - shame about the bechamel from a jar though :'( I also like a poached egg on top sometimes - makes me think it's healthier so I can use even more cheese!
So, I get that, without the egg, the sammie you're making is a croque monsieur. What I don't get is how, by adding a perfectly round, firm egg with a pert yolk, you transform it into a croque madame. Does it have something to do with the type of bread you're using, or the type of pan.. or some kind of crude joke about boobies?
What? Are those folks crazy or do they have too much money? I wouldn't pay more than 2€, thats roughly 1.50 Pound, for a sandwich and these folks would seriously pay about 10 frigging Euros for a frigging sandwich?!? SRYSLY?!?
Don't know where this guy is from in Europe, but it must be awesome lol. In Germany, in Cologne (big city) and surrounding area (more country side) you'd pay for a similar sandwich anything between 2.50 - 3.50 €. So, considering London prices, £3 seems reasonable.
So instead of getting it in your mouth, you think the best place for the egg yolk is all over the plate? How the hell did the French get a name for cooking if this is the nonsense they come up with?
Straight to the name calling when you are called out on your nonsense. Classy. The French do not break the yolk onto the plate, nor does this dish represent more than a tiny fraction of French cooking.
food busker, most underrated cooking channel in UA-cam
Agree
yup
yup
*on
He used store bought bechamel sauce.... Any real chef would shake their head at that because of how easy it is to make.
This is the perfect hangover food.
+Leigh Cooper or heart attack lol
+themis131413 man shut up
you should go back to the jungle cause ur evolving backwards yes offence
I could eat this day and night! Seeing that glorious golden yolk wasted at the end, though, was kinda heart-breaking!
You're our hero!

@@TheGameware Bit harsh
I fell down this rabbit hole a few days ago I've now watched over half of them on the Playlist. he is hilarious quite enjoyable.
Best croque madame I've seen on UA-cam so far. That yolk. Ugh. *drools*
I loved yours too mate! I can't believe you responded, now I feel bad for sharing someone else's video on a comment :p
***** you're always fun to watch, Mr. JQ! 👍👍👍
That's what I want for breakfast, too often!
One of the best dishes i have seen on UA-cam!
He dresses just like he makes his food. Looks simple, but is greatness.
That's right, I saw that cheeky white sleeve under the fairly normal wind jacket.
Just made it this morning and it was bloody delicious. The leftover bechamelsauce goes also very well with pasta.
this sandwich is absolutely perfect👌👌👌
what's wrong with some people they're scared of the food???
Increase the peace indeed food busker, increase the peace indeed
I want this naughty dish for breakfast tomorrow......thanks a bunch John :)

Could you show how you do that knife swing? That's amazing
That yolk tho 😍 A+ Mr Busker
Simply delish......BOOOOOOM!!!!
***** when are you next in Broadway Market? I want to be your next taster... I promise I will be fair and award the maximum possible price!!
(in exchange for a good tip!!)
Looked great man, such a classic!
Coming from someone that lives in America, I would pay 3-4 pounds for your sandwich, which translates to about $4-$6.
Nice work, Busker! I look forward to your channel every Tuesday for a fresh dish :D
Great video and very entertaining. You should list the ingredients and how to cook it in the link below or link it to a page you have.
Adding thin slices of a granny smith apple and some rosemary works really well too!
omg the knife twist at 4:41!!
I am making the besamel fresh. What, I don't have 10 minutes of time? BOOM! Look lovely these ma'ams though.
Great Food. Well Done Bro.
Just a quick question: What knife are you using?
7 pounds? really? are bread and eggs in the uk really that expensive?
+alyn BLaZe I think it's more of the play on words that influence the people. "French", "classic" all that good stuff. Although fair play to him that's what most food establishments do.
Marcus Ching yea but u can clearly see its a sandwich with some eggs on top. how freakin expensive can bread and eggs be?
+alyn BLaZe I have lived in France and Belgium (where this is a very common dish) and this would cost around 8 to 10 euro in a bar, but you'd get a salad on the side with it though.
Dear Food Busker,
Please, do me a favour: can you make an impression of Gennaro with his "Why I am cooking so good?!" in your next video?
Is that prosciutto? Never tried it on a croque, always have used and seen it with cooked ham, but looks good!
Brilliant recipe! I thought 4£ and 50 pence. So much goodness in that sandwich.
delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!
whats the name of the song at 2:27???
Hey thats entertaining tasty cooking ;)
cool
Ohhh yes, one for me please....
Nice croque! That ham looks awesome - shame about the bechamel from a jar though :'(
I also like a poached egg on top sometimes - makes me think it's healthier so I can use even more cheese!
hell yeah!!!
That`s as good as a sandwich can get! Will definitely try this one in the near future...
I`d do 4 pounds. Boom!
Had one in france. They are really tasty. Def worth 5£
Totes making these for dinner tonight.
Were can i meet you? or even taste ur food
Try cooking his stuff! Amazing!
+Food Busker awesome
Illegally Naughty 😂love it.
Oh yes, I want
4:41 those knife skills tho
yep. best sandwich in the world. end of story :)
can't believe you didn't make your own béchamel
So, I get that, without the egg, the sammie you're making is a croque monsieur. What I don't get is how, by adding a perfectly round, firm egg with a pert yolk, you transform it into a croque madame. Does it have something to do with the type of bread you're using, or the type of pan.. or some kind of crude joke about boobies?
+David Slone well, it's a french recipie, so probably that last one
Gruyere isn’t traditional, it’s a Swiss cheese like emmental. The traditional cheese used in a croque monsieur/madamme would be comte.
You are a naughty naughty boy. Did you see the cheese action?
I can even feel the cholesterol in my blood while watching the video :D
omg 😍😍😍
Gruyere is my favorite cheese. :3
did he use the same spoon that he had in his mouth to spoon the sauce onto the bread?
Nice. I have been making these daily for almost 2 years. My cholesterol is at 260 atm and I don't care.
J'ai faim =)
I'm on to you, JQ. You wanted that last half for yourself you rascal.
Mmmh! Store bought Bechamel! Has Gordon Ramsey taught you nothing, John?
English mustard for cheese sauce better to bring out flavour of cheese
"so she thinks you made it fresh". 'cause lying is the way to go
well, joking is
i am french and this isnt how we do it. i dont care how tasty it looks 😂
+Matt N Pretty damn good for a busker...
+BeofGo i know its a joke about the usual comments on here. usually slating it for not being authentic
Bechamel is lietrally the easiest sauce to make.
I didn’t get to know the first bottled sauce(?)you dumped in. Your accent gets in the way!☹️☹️☹️🇱🇷🇨🇿
omg
Oh my god this is proper naughty!
It's not be béchamel once you had cheese or eny other flavour
and one more thing, you great cook, its not french ham, its called "Prosciutto" ! Or in my language "prshuta"
+jubox666 yeah there is also Bayonne ham, which looks like Prosciutto but isn't. So it is french ham, or Basque ham if you prefer.
That is either prosciutto or spanish, jamon serrano
Even the food busker said "jamon" 3:08, after saying french ham WTF? lol
hm like 3-4£
Pls more naughty stuff like this 😍
WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR ENGLISH PEOPLE TO SAY GRUYÈRE?!?!!?
signed, a frustrated swiss person.

Fuck dude! 7.5 Quid. WTF is a quid? I donno but that's a lotta quid.
+Michael B Same thoughts! :) Here, where I live, it would be a maximum of 2 quids.
Quid = british pound! That's 11 dollars......
Quid is British slang for Pounds, a single pound is 2 dollar ish, maybe a bit less.
Waffffer thin!
£7!?!?
If you want to make money, do croque madames in london.
c'est pas croque monsieur plutôt?
would have made a bit of sense to have the egg inside..
+Harnil Lakha acually no, it's a sunny side up egg so the whole point is to have the yolk melt on top on the sandwich.
This guy mimics J Olivers persona waaaaaay too much!
Good Grub Mind!
That cheese slicing looked very dangerous...
3 quid sounds ridiculously low. I would pay a fiver, easy...
2£ max
Who cares about the sandwich I just need to learn that knife twirl.
Its a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich with the egg on top? Sounds unnecessarily messy.
Grew-air ???!?!? Lol
id give him the £3
I hate you for that egg yolk. How could you just let it run down from the sandwhich!? What a waste.
When John, bends over the cutting board his voice becomes so frustrating!
grooair though
I can get a special meal for 7 pounds
U mad bro? 3 pounds ??????? I would give you a tenner, without hesitation.
cause making bechamel yourself is too hard....
What? Are those folks crazy or do they have too much money?
I wouldn't pay more than 2€, thats roughly 1.50 Pound, for a sandwich and these folks would seriously pay about 10 frigging Euros for a frigging sandwich?!? SRYSLY?!?
It's London prices, London is like twice the price of everywhere else in the U.K.
You couldn't get that for 1.50 in London 😂😂
+Bastet Furry maybe 3 or 4, but they are on cam so maybe got embarassed or smth.
+Bastet Furry realistically thats a £4 sandwich. Remember where you live isn't as expensive as London.
Don't know where this guy is from in Europe, but it must be awesome lol. In Germany, in Cologne (big city) and surrounding area (more country side) you'd pay for a similar sandwich anything between 2.50 - 3.50 €. So, considering London prices, £3 seems reasonable.
béchamel in bottle so disgusting. don't pretend to be a real cooker after that
Cook
Jar sauce 😷
who cares about being first?
+UploaderLT second
I CARE ABOUT BEING 1st , if your not 1ST YOUR LAST!!!
Bit messy.
No offence but that's just a basic sandwich, Lool ur to excited for such a simple sandwich
So instead of getting it in your mouth, you think the best place for the egg yolk is all over the plate? How the hell did the French get a name for cooking if this is the nonsense they come up with?
+ben middleton Does he sound French to you?
repent
moron

Straight to the name calling when you are called out on your nonsense. Classy.

you really are a fucking moron
You really are a feeble minded worm.
