    Hello from Canada!
    I own a ‘19 Countryman JCW.
    The new MINIs are awesome vehicles and you just made that one look even more so.
    Love your work!

      d tasca hi! I was just wondering what a Mini JCW would cost you in Canada. Here in the Netherlands a nice one with some nice options will set you back somewhere between €45.000.- and €50.000,- #purecuriosity

    Always in awe of the result Serge. As for your decision to go back with Modesta, you have to to do what’s best for you and your company. I’m sure that decisions was not an easy one. Look forward to the upcoming year.

    You have to let us know where you got that power washer nozzle combination. The fact that you can have the clean water rinse nozzle and a foam gun on one unit is really intriguing as well as reducing the need for a lot of equipment. Thanks.

    Serge you've probably seen me comment this on your other videos but great job on the Mini ! Keep up the great work into the New Year with more detailing videos. I'm excited for more hypercar detailing in the future!
    PS I see you're using a blower to dry the cars. Do you always use a blower or do you sometimes use microfiber? Also, why did you use a steam machine on this car and not on others? Cheers from America!

      @@fischputza The de-ironizer is usually clear but turns red when it reacts with iron. That's why you can see reddish stuff on the Mini after Serge Sprayed it down with the de-ironizer

    • @fischputza
      @fischputza 5 років тому

      @@nathanc4504 I kow, but I couldn't see the reddish stuff on the red paint, so I was confused. I thought it was some kind of citrus pre wash to remove dirt and traffic film before the snowfoam.

    Great video! I really enjoyed it! Would have put in more chilly music though! ;)
    I have a question:
    I have a Mini Cooper S F56 as well and I really want to fully paint correct it as well! The paint is in fairly good condition but there are some holograms, light swirls and so on but really nothing major. What did you experience with polishing the paint? Is it more on the soft side so should I be careful or do you think this is a fairly durable paint? (I have a volcanic orange one which you can see on my profile picture :P). You think doing a medium cut with Menzerna 2500 and afterwards finish polish is ok? Would very appreciate a response coming from a professional! ;) keep it up!

    • @RideShineDetailing
      @RideShineDetailing  5 років тому

      Hi, my thoughts on this paint where that it is not really hard. I used the green Rupes Pad on my LHR15 in combination with Angelwax Compound Resurrection. We did a second stage with medium polish on a yellow Rupes pad. But is depends per panel what you have to do. If there is a deep scratch you need to sand it maybe. So just try what works for you the most easy and fastest way possible.

    • @MacBookAir-cu4fb
      @MacBookAir-cu4fb 5 років тому

      @@RideShineDetailing Thanks so much! :D Really appreciate it! Was there anything unusual you witnessed while detailing on that MINI? And the Compound Resurrection: With which compound from Menzerna can you compare this? Like I said: Mine is a little less "scratched" and I was planning on trying with Menzerna 2500 with medium Pad and afterwards 3500 with a finish pad... Would love to hear your opinion about it! :D Greetings from Germany!
