A standing ovation !!!! I have seen thousands of video on adjustment options. This is one of the best ever !!!!
However , I was wondering instead which is the best way to go inverted, how many days from the deadline, where to place the strike, if it is right to roll out the whole position? A video about it would be nice.
All the best regards and thanks for your interesting videos

Great video - Been trading options for over 5 years and in my experience for iron condors, it is more efficient to open a new trade on the untested side rather than adjusting.
Keep following the market, opening new trades as the market changes, and in the long run you come out ahead because most of your trades will win 100% of your net credit and expire worthless while only some will be losers, but not complete losers.
For example you risk $85 to win $15, but the trade is a loser BUT you only lose $20 instead of all $85. If two trades win $15 and another loses $20, you'll still come out ahead $10

So for example if you open an iron condor and it breaches your call credit spread side, you open a new put credit spread, right? But what happens then if the market comes back and breaches the new put credit spread short strike? Aren’t you then losing on the new trade? What’s your adjustment for this scenario? It’s a good idea, just trying to get a feel for further adjustments if necessary!

@@Megrogs2641 good question. That could happen but the idea is too just keep following the market and open new trades. Keep an diary.
You can always adjust one of the wings but if you have the collateral, better to open a new trade.
And if one of your trades loses too much, you can always close it out of you're worried about market not changing directions

Hi. Great vdo. 1 doubt. When we close the untested side, will it release the margin(atleast half) which was blocked for making the Iron Condor trade. Or will the margins only be unblocked after closing all the positions in a Iron Condor. And do we always need to maintain extra margin in my account in order to make a net credit adjustment for any Options Spread trade. Pls advise ASAP 😎😎😎

Thank your for the video! Would it be possible to explain how to implement these adjustments with a Python algorithm? Would it be possible with QuantConnect? Is there a possibility to back test these adjustments? Thank you!

I hit a like button always what about avoiding assignments are there ways to avoid assignment when it goes in in the money on expiry day. Like lotto trade when does it get assigned before 4pm if i get out will i be okay. As long as i close the options sell it before 4pm on expiry day. Mahalo. Do u make contents on being assigned i do wnjoy all ur contents. Loyal viewer old man from Hawaii
