Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez seem to be putting down some roots in paradise as just this month it was reported they bought a new estate in Maui, Hawaii. Their tropical getaway is said to have cost around $78 million, but that’s not particularly surprising as Bezos dropped a whopping $255 million on his main mansion in Hollywood and some surrounding properties. Today we’ll take a look at where the couple has been calling home - including the latest spot in Hawaii.

When I was a young girl I used to stay at that ppty in Makena, it was the Carter estate, on weekends with family & friends , back then their was just a small cottage there. The most beautiful private beach ever!

At least he is offering 120% of the value of his Maui home, in relief aid. Couldn’t be more diametrically opposed to most of his political views, but the scale of this tragedy supersedes any political belief system. I lived about a mile from Jeff’s new Maui property, until I moved up the mountain. What is so great about this property is it is at the very end of the south coast roadway, and because there is a historic fishpond attached to the deed, it means Jeff controls not only the beach, but the waters in front of his property. That is extremely rare, as 99% of beaches in Hawaii are public and must provide access. So Jeff just bought himself a very secure part of paradise. He has thrown the peasants a little loose change, also to buy peace and security.
