Locations include sand dunes in Florence, OR, Sahalie Falls off the Santiam Hwy, and the burnt forrest on the Santiam Hwy.
I love the dialogue you gave between Lindsey and Peter. XD
wooow that waterfall location is just ...breathtaking...i have never seen such a scape in real life
oh my god... me andmy family always take our breathe when we're going into the tunnel like you all did !! :D
Fantastic and very scenic locations that suited the song/story very well!
laughed way harder than I should've at 2:42 and 2:59... Imma go to da corner now to rethink my life...
I love these :) It's nice to know that Lindsey and Peter (mostly Peter) are goofballs like the rest of us!
Now that is the most awesome Custom Build Dolly rig i have ever seen! Well done! I'm impressed!
Caw Cawwwww! lol that was my favorite part, it is just me or is peter the funniest person in the the behind the scenes videos he is in?
the tunnel looks like the one from back to the future part 1... awesome
no kidding!? I knew Oregon has some beautiful scenery, as I live there, but dayumm!!! One thing I request though is to film at Crater Lake. The lake is so beautiful.
Interesting seeing what goes into filming a video. You folks do great glad Peter Hollens introduced you to his audience. Peace and Love.
I love the place where this was filmed! Pretty much perfect for this song
I can't stop replaying the om nom nom nom moss part XD
I knew I recognized where this was shot! Spent many a summer there and still do. Great video and fun behind the scenes. :)
Haha, I LOVE the way Peter looks at 2:55 ;D
Om nom nom nom moss LOL Peter is hilarious.
I'm going to say this was filmed in Oregon. Not many places where all of these scenes can be within a reasonable driving distance. And that Fred Meyer has to be in Florence, because nobody else was stupid enough to build one so close to dunes.
you guys look like such a fun bunch of people to be around and your videos are fantastic, keep it up
Watching video...wait this has to be Oregon. Yes, love the scenes.Well done!
DSLR's have larger sensors and interchangeable lenses so it offers a number of advantages over older video cameras. That said, video cameras are improving rapidly and I wouldn't be surprised if the # of dslr shooters dips down a bit in the next few years.
damn no Devin i can't say i noticed it the first time though the video but now i can see why he is the man. he is damn talented, i hope you can get him back for the next one.
Hay payther! Hay mom i'm in the scene! Paythers plahyeng chayse! Oh my gosh that got a real laugh outta me xD
Ha so great that I know where you filmed this. My sister lives in Florence. I also go through that tunnel several times a year going between school and home.
I'm gonna be completely honest when I say this, I believe you guys are just as good as Devin, I'm really surprised you guys aren't known more, what really adds to Peter's videos are the awesome camera effects and editing that you guys polish and add to his videos, keep doing what you're doing you'll get more attention soon :)
omg omg omgomgomgogmogmogmogm they were in my state on a beach i've been to many times before omg i will never think of the coast the same way again *faint* i love linsey and peter!!!
Bahahaha loved 2:58 (omnomnom) and 4:30 (the high "helloooo, harrr!") :D
youve had this for a whole year how is dis possible
Fredy's! I haven't been in or seen one in years!
Awesomeness!
U GUYS HAD WWWAAAAYYYYYYY TO MUCH FUN. NEXT TIME MAKE IT EVEN FUNNIER!!!!!!!!
Hey ! Amazing song in the car ! ;)
Good job, I loved it! You guys are pretty cool! =) Peter tends to get overshadowed by Lindsey, but he is super awesome too =D Great work to all of you!
amazing stuff, guys
Hope you keep making vids together and keep making our days great
beautiful
So nice! I wish to be part of it.
seriously though you crack me up haha
DSLR's are actually way harder to use than regular video camera's.
They don't really have any auto focus on them so everything has to be focused on manually. There's pro's and cons to both types of camera's.
DSLR's are primarily a photo camera, which means they have a way way bigger sensor! Bigger sensor means more light, means better quality video.
When it comes down to it, you simply can't beat the image quality of DSLR cameras for the entry-level price of less than $3,000.
I know exactly where that Fred Meyer is! xD I've always wanted to go back there, but I never had the time...
I feel like everyone on UA-cam is connected
ca cawww! awesome job, guys. :)
You guys are seriously awesome!! xDD
4:59 That laugh xD
Awww, anyone else thought at 1:35 it should've been "My excitement meter is OVER 9000!"? ;) jk gr8 BTS
2:58... SUPERB.
Holy Shit!!! I recognized where you were the second you showed the fred meyers right next to the dunes. I wish i'd known to come say Hi and thanks for your awesome talent!
This is great XD
Excellent x)
It is a steadicam buddy, very usefull if you don't want the rigidity of dolly tracks ;)
"Hellooooo" "Haarrrrr!" "Eeeoyeee" "Harrrr!" "Ca CAWW"
nice job! The video is great = )
Alone, you and Devin are extraordinarily good. If you two would work together some times, you'd definately make a terrific video. Overall, good music video, I really enjoyed watching it.
great work :)
Excellent :D
wow, its totally been a year since they made this.
I need to know what part of Oregon the waterfall/forest scene was in. I must go there!
Nice. For a while, I thought this was filmed at the Colorado Sand Dunes. :]
Its not too bad, I was just comparing it to the genius that is Devin's Camera work.
These 5thgen guys are clearly not in the same league as him.
Awesome work! Where was the location of that waterfall, it looked amazing! Also what Canon body and telephoto lens were you using? :o)
That't not nice to say. I mean Devin is great but FifGenFilms did an amazing job as well. Cudos :D
Nom nom nom nom nom... MOSS! xD
Lols. Were you guys trying to hold your breaths through the tunnel? XD
im a big fan of devin but i loved the quality of the original video
Anyone knows how they built that dolly ? I love it.
I want to go to that waterfall.
Scene at 4:32. Laughed my butt off
I subscribed to you folks a while bask but don't think I comment.
I love peter...he's so quirky
OM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM MOSS! :P
They tell you at the bottom of the description.
where can i buy one of those hoodies? they look pretty awesome
cool
Om nom nom nom nom nom MOSS!!
Hey Great Job on the Vid! I'm curious what vid editing software you prefer? I've been trying out Sony Vegas Pro 12, having issues with it crashing when adding video FX's. Wondering if I should make the big step to Adobe Prem?
I think you are very talented and what TommyPlesky said is very rude . You are incredible.keep up the good work :)
HAHAHA 4:30 the best part!
I have noticed more and more people recording videos now-a-days with the newer Canon cameras (not video cameras).
Kinda curious why people started using those over actual video cameras. Are they easier to use or something?
Not saying anything bad bout it - just wondering.
Is that a homemade dolly and track? Nice!
don't lie.... did you make the track for the tripod (sorry i don't know what it's properly called) out of stuff bought at home depot or equivalent?
is that desert in gran canaria?
i was there last summer and it looks similar
You guys are dorks.
The video was beautiful, actually...
Aahahahahhaha OM NOM NOM NOM NOM XDDDDD
Best part: 4:31 - 4:38
you did a great job, but why was not devin filming.
I think I've been to that Fred Meyers
lmao @ 4:30
where was this shot? it's beautiful.
4:47 get on the roof of the car, you'll feel infinate...
Cant he just put on a Røde (rode) mic on that?
om nom nom nom nom MOSS
Thumbs up for Peter Hollens eating moss!
Well, you guys DID pick some bitchen locations! ~8^)
3:34 devin supertramp never does that :D
Where did u guys go to shoot the waterfall scene?
what reilly thinks is up 4:02 what's really up 4:15
3:18 / 3:19 Yeah.. Looks like young Chuck Norris.
What are you using as the stabilizer? (see 2:47 )
O now i get it, the video was not very good, because it was NOT filmed by Devin.
Hey what editing program do you guys like to use? :)
2:55 xD
