Hi Alice, hope you are having a lovely day. Glad to hear you addressed file management. There are so many things to learn in Cubase it can be overwhelming to start. I would be interested to learn why you have chosen Cubase over other DAWs.
Hi! I can’t say I’ve tried all of the popular DAWs long enough to really speak on it, but until now Cubase has always stood out for me because of the versatility when it comes to audio as well as midi. Plus you can customize pretty much anything, build your own macros, … I’m probably not even using half of its potential right now.
@@alicebyno Looked like your computer is a mac, so thought you might have tried Logic. I was a Logic user from 2008 until Cubase 13 came out. I switched because Cubase could utilize all of processor cores in my Mac Studio when Logic could not. I agree that Cubase is very versatile when it comes to audio as well as midi. It works much faster, has less issues and is more flexible in my workflow. I love the "Control Room" feature. and many others. I would not switch back. I hope to see even more great things in Cubase 14. Fingers crossed we see it next month 🙂
Amazing! I've never seen someone who can deliver so much info in such a short time. And yet have it very accessible and easy to understand at the same time. You deserve WAY more subscribers! Thanks!
Might do one about mixing. I’ve done some mixes on livestream that you can still watch though. I made a video on quick mastering a while ago: ua-cam.com/video/aMEZt_4F1Pk/v-deo.html
Those are in there by default, but to be honest I only use one mix console. But if it helps your workflow, you could configure each of those mix consoles differently. Your main one could show everything, the second one only inputs etc.
learn all abt Cubase WORKSPACES... 3 more Mixerviews mean u focus on all in mainwindow 1 , then all Groups and FXchannels on 2nd, and all Instrumenttracks on 3rd ( just what i prefer with lots of tracka for Orchestral Composing)

@spadogs I’m curious about 14 too!
I’m switching over to Cubase from Logic Pro. I like that this was straight to the point and easy to follow. 👍🏽
Welcome to the Cubase family! 😁
I've been using Cubase for years and I credit you for doing a good job of ushering new people to Cubase.

Very concise, thank you! I'm coming from Studio One. There are a few similarities with the layout, so I should be in over my head in no time, haha!

Nice video but whats the back ground music!!?
Just something I put together with Splice loops. Easiest way to create custom background music imo.
