I just bought two of these today, couldn't work out the door brackets, despite the very basic instruction pictures . Sorted now, thank you for this video.very helpful.😊
Wow, glad that this video still helps a little, this was one of my first, j=hope the shoe stand holds up, i would add a bit of glue to each part of the pole holders to to help stability.
You are most welcome, remember to not hang it like I did on the reverse side of the door like I did in the video, this was just to showcase it as an example. It will get crushed against the wall otherwise.. 🤣
Thank You so much 4 this Video!! I could not see those tiny drawings even with a magnifier. 1tip..if the hook that’s @ the top of the door won’t let you close the door. You have to slightly bend the c-shaped side of the hook with the hole in it upward toward the ceiling that’s on the rack side of the door. It will make the hook Flush with the top frame of the door & then be closable.
"I knowits not rocket science to build this shoe rack, but there's people that want the easy option, and many people just choose youtube" Me: That's me 😂😂😂
Glad it helped, in the video, the door rack is placed on the opposite side of the door but it was only for the purposes of exhibition why I hung it that way 😀
Cheers, obviously in this video I placed the shoe holder on the inner side of door as an example. Not the best location, after trying to open the door after. But hey. it was one of my first videos I created. 😁
👍 Hi and thanks for the comment, i can confirm that you may need to add a bit of fixing glue eg: PVA, add some to the inserts where the poles fit into. As after a while they do become a pain and do come apart with shoe weight,so yeah my advice is to add a spot of glue and leave it to fully dry, then it should be quite sturdy. This particular shoe rack,i still have and after adding glue, its still intact. hope this helps.✌
Wish I had bought something else...wont stay on the door...I got to screw it to the back off the door to hold...Frustrating....might end up buying something else...
I have the one that I bought from Walmart. It works better if you place it inside a closet door 🚪,but mine did fall because I had my booties at the bottom. It comes with screws so make sure you put the screws in the proper place. Or else it will fall off.
Wow! This is not how I built mine out. I think yours will falls apart soon. Your suppose to build each tier separately. Then attach the hanging parts to one tier. Hang it on the door then slide/snap other tiers into place.

Excellent vid, I’ve decided to only use two sections and drill it to the empty unused corner space inside my closet

Just wondering is it a strong rack?
Or does it’s joints get loose when shoe’s weight comes?

I was disappointed that this build did not show the screws being used. :(
Mine doesn't have side snaps it allegedly slides in.. :( useless
How the F can you open the door??
Lol , it was an example, it wasn't meant for that particular door 🤣
I was waiting to see him open the door! I posted the same thing, minus the f bomb, but I should have! ! I certainly was thinking it! LMAO!
