Enjoy your videos. Thank you. I just picked up my 2022 Taycan. IS there a way to set a driver profile so that when I come into the vehicle it automatically turns on sport sounds, apple car play, sport mode, etc. Right now, for example, I'm having to go into vehicle settings and select sport sound each time I start the car. I set up a profile at the LA PEC yesterday, but that was to connect to Porsche. I didn't see anything regarding driver preferences.
Unfortunately there is no way to have the car start in a driving mode other than normal. Same goes for electric sport sound, it defaults to off. The best workaround is to setup the individual driving mode to your personal preferences.
You'll need to have the sport chrono package. If you do you can go to vehicle, change the drive mode to individual, then click on the three dots in the bottom right hand corner, this will then allow you to change the individual drive mode settings.
Cool feature. Going to try it! I like the red by the way 👌🏼
Thanks ! There is no automatic closing when you move away from the vehicle ?
Unfortunately not

@@paulsteinbruner2129 Thanks for responding. How do we set our personal preferences-where do we go for that?

Do you have to use the keyfob or can you unlock and drive the car with the phone app only?
You can use the key or the My Porsche app.
Coming from BMW, the missing feature is automatically locking when you walk away (just like it unlocks when you approach).
That feature is now available on the new Macan Electric.
handles seem slow to unlock
