One careful owner, never dropped or crashed. Fully loaded and wants for nothing. A fantastic buy for some one who has the cash. You are a good guy Scott. Chapeau to you.
You are a star Scott, your beautiful assistant, your beautiful family. Unless you plan on travelling to Australia, imagine owning a bike that has nothing to prove but all the accessories you'd need! Good luck with the sale. Going to miss this motorcycle!
Bought my V-Strom 650 in 2013 and after 10 years and plus 50,000km have not regretted it for a second. Very sorry to hear they are dropping the model but your review is a wonderful tribute to this underrated bike. Partly because of your review I am switching to a new BMW R 1300 GS next year with or without ASA (your enthusiasm really makes me hesitate to order the GS with ASA). Keep up the good work!
It's a good buy, service plan is a chunk of Change alone, and the owner is know, not hunderds of people riding it like Ex demo,so it's not abused, and waiting list on new one to be considered.
Thanks for helping decide not to buy a GS1300, I would not like that sound. The new Stelvio sounds pretty good, and has the drive shaft that I like. Love your videos keep up the good work!
That's pretty much the perfect spec. After all the great videos, your praise for all the tech, engine, reliability etc, it is after all, how you feel riding it. The RT is an amazing dedicated tourer so you argue that you don't need two of them. Definitely would love to see your video on why your keeping the RT and what you decide to do next with it
Dont believe so. Simply I think all agree that new one is bit too posh, bit too expensive and unnecessary. Like newest iphone. You can perfectly live with with few years old model. The same like with 1250gs
I am a Spaniard living in Kentucky, USA. I ride a 2016 R1200GS and I would happily buy your bike if I lived in the EU, but … I don’t 😢. Love your videos though
A very honourable presentation Scott and generous offer for someone who is looking for a good deal on one of these machines. Your's is a great deal, good luck with selling it.
Thanks for all the content Scott. It would've been great to get this but out of my price range. Will keep an eye out for what's next from your channel. Just thought it might make sense to explicitly say that buyer will have a good amount of manufacturer warranty left.
Hi Scott, always enjoy your motorcycle reviews from a very familia area. I grow up in the region you film and enjoy the green and winding roads. Would be definitely a ponential buyer hower, I live in Phoenix by now and therefor bin out of reach for this great bargain. Keep posting more of your great and informative reviews. 👍
The used Gs value had dropped like a stone in the uk ! 25k bikes with barely any miles are down to 19k in dealers ! I've just put my 1300 in for the new gsa which arrives in November. I might just change my mind one but a v4 multistrada .
This will go in no time! Someone will be verrry lucky to own this. But, if you do struggle, I'd gladly drive over from Scotland and swap you my 2023 f750gs (new to me 1st big bike) and a BIG hug Scott🫶 I'd maybe throw in some haggis and black pudding for you to enjoy😘
I love your channel, i own a BMW R1250R and just love it, cant see me changing it any time soon Would love to see a review from you on the CF Moto 450mt,, that's likely to be a 2nd bike 😊
Why he is keeping Rt? The answer is simple: he leaves in Germany, and roads are about perfect, that’s why he doesn’t need adventure bike! And RT on the road is simply better.
Today I rode from Nürenberg to Amsterdam. Only 50% of the Autobahn was great. The rest so, so. Coming into the Netherlands, yes, there the highway is at its best.
I asked that question to my BMW dealer, Christian Wecker the director at Becker-Tiemann and he said "around the world" you can take it to any dealer. Side note: just like Honda, Yamaha...etc.
@@NothingToProve thank you for the reply- I hate to labour the point but I presume that applies to recalls and warranty work as well as the oil and filter replacements
@@butlersg1 of course all warranty, re-calls too, even if out of warranty, as that just happened to me on the RT, it was just out (by a month) but still the drain plug in the shaft drive had to be replaced (during last annual service) but I didn't pay for it, BMW did because it was a recall.
Which one is better ? Personally I have third GS and had Honda and Triumph. In my opinion BMW GS i well build and easy to maintain. What is the problem with BMW ?
For me absolutely nothing... the best big trail... I had 3 versions with 0 problems, each with 40k km... oil filters... spark plugs... a pair of front brake pads... and 2 pairs of tire... and mount it... can't understand so many GS in the world... owners complain and others just keep it... whatever... boxer + driveshaft love forever... and now ... 2024... followed in Scott's footsteps... time to change... R1250 RT... thank u Scott...

I wouldn´t mind paying German retail price for the bike AND all the extras...delivered with a Danish plate 😊 I will miss this bike on the channel.

Second moto youtuber who is selling his 1300. They are getting ready for the GSA

I’ve been considering getting back into riding after a two year hiatus. These utube videos are serving as a reminder of my reasons for quitting 😅
Oh men! I wish I live in Europe or had the money 😂 I would buy it asap!

Good luck, man. Hope you find a nice buyer. I would make an offer… but I’m in the Netherlands, so it would make it expensive to import
it seems GSA’s order already placed 😂
he is saved
now he can redeem himself

Perfect roads in Germany?What a joke-)In Luxemburg yes......like a circuit....
Try the roads in the uk ! There AWFUL trust me

If I was a rich man I would buy it and ride it back to Australia.
I am buying RT1250 you sold me the Bike , i am 5 10 do i need to lower the footpegs for more comfort if i am doing like 300 miles a day?
Are you going to buy a Guzzi now?
LOL! I would like to but, money is money, not enough to go around.
assistant is hotter than the bike!
24.000€ in Germany, that is cheap!. Price for a fully loaded R1300GS in Denmark is +55.000€
Does the BMW warranty work EU wide? If the bike is exported from Germany?

I prefer Ducati Multistrada V4S , PP, RS or RT1250 if i want BMW
Is the RT for sale? 😄
NEVER!
@@NothingToProve 😊👌
Have you sold this BMW R1300 GSA?
Where is the bike? I am in Arizona USA.
Nope, not yet.
I'm in Germany 😒
versys 1000 najbolji
100euro 😂
Personally I wouldn’t touch a BMW bike
I agree. I had a GS 1200 and it was the most unreliable bike I have ever owned.
