I came across this while searching out of curiousity, and even though this video is about Fire TV Stick, I think this could also work for Fire TV Edition, for those who may have received a TV running the Fire TV software as a gift but want to use it as a basic TV by setting up and then disconnecting the Internet connection after setup, instead of selling it off first to get a TV running a different OS like Android TV or Roku OS (Roku TV).

I want to set it back to factory settings, but when I sign in again, it shows my German postcode again. Can you help me with that problem?
