- Andra Day received an Oscar nomination for her role as Billie Holiday, and she proved she could sing anything like the music icon after performing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" as Holiday for guest host Tiffany Haddish! The singer also talked about Beyoncé sending her flowers to congratulate her on the Golden Globe win. She also told Tiffany how she made an all-over transformation for her role as Billie by smoking, drinking, and staying abstinent.

Yes indeed!!? Made me very proud to be the one the APOLLO theater gave the name Billie Holiday Jr to 20 years ago on national TV. She made me see what it is that folks here in Harlem say I remind them of her...the elders who knew the real Billie Holiday in her truest form... but feds didn't grab her & pull her off no stage...they always waited for her performance to be completely finished...she always knew they were there for her cuz she would always spot their white Sox.
