Heartiest thanks. Extremely helpful atleast to me. Upload more videos on skin. My severely weak areas are skin, ENT, neurology. And GPs frequently encounter these cases. Please upload videos to empower the GPs.
Dear sir, I hope this writing has found yours sight sir/ma'am, I have been facing same issue for last one and half years and consulted nemours physicians but got no result sir. They prescribed me drugs like "Levocetrizine, Belastine, Cetrizine etc." but didn't work. I've been experiencing symptoms like palm itching, frequent diarrhoea( once every month), mouth swallowing, wait loss, inability to eat meals, marks on skin( black spots on skin are growing larger). Plaque Scaly Annular is also visible on my palm( left hand) and most importantly when I feel like diarrhoea this mark becomes more problematic, ' itching more, redness becomes more visible, skin started to pill off, and become irritating....'.
The word used to describe a fungal lesion is annular. The word annular is related to the word anus, meaning ring-shaped. Fungal lesions are ring-shaped in the sense that there is central clearing: redness is present on the borders, but the central area looks normal. The reason for central clearing is that fungi are not very good at attacking living organisms. In nature, fungi feed on dead matter, so a living organism can usually handle them more easily. Many fungal infections are opportunistic. Due to the lesions being ring-shaped, we use the word ringworm to describe fungal lesions. However, this is a misnomer, as fungal infections are caused by fungi, not worms.
Much needed class for Physicians like me….will have great help in day to days opd …..thank you sir
