@@राकेश_रेल currently 18 metro systems operational. 7 new metro systems are approved by cabinet and some of them are already under construction.
Several state governments are waiting for the central government's approval for many new metro systems for example recently the Andhra government has approved metro systems in vijaywada and vishakapatnam and are waiting for the central government's approval.
As of now we are currently sure of 25 metro systems. In the remaining 5 years Even if the government approved at least 5 systems we are going to have 30 metro systems in the country.
