The weeks are screaming by and I am actually really happy that this week is overwith. It leaves just one last important thing on my agenda which is the upcoming Reptile Super Show on January 6-7th and a couple of days after that I fly back to Thailand and will be in SE Asia for five months. We have so many things going on overseas so I need to get back and tend to many things. These we will reveal when the time is right but we are lining up things and putting in work to bring you new and exciting animals for our 2024 summer return. Don't forget to check the website available page for updates. Thanks for watching!!!

Beautiful animals, Ptyas looking like a boss. Your mic was FOR SURE picking up that growl. Thank you for sharing!
LOVE that 1st snake and sure can hear him.growling LOL ;o)
Dam! Those Red Eyes are AMAZING!
Rat snakes seem to be active and very curious, no matter the genus. I have a wild Pantherophis that winters in a crawl space in my basement. I check in with her every month & she seems unbothered by any interactions.
That Ptyas is HUGE!!!
Beautiful specimen, great job guys!
Very nice video and camera works by yourself! 🎉 I miss you. 😘
Looks like all the people on Facebook doing selfie videos for likes lol (except for my intro/outro edits of course).
Great video awesome selection!! Have a safe and happy holiday and I look forward to the next video
Oh man! Emergency root canal this time, unexpected knee surgery last time. You're a trooper! That growl was super neat to hear. Big, beautiful guy, too. The snake, I mean lol
Yeah, getting old sucks but I will say that I am lucky that when things do happen, I always seem to be in a place where I can address them quickly. Old crowns don't last forever and that was not my first time to an endodontist for a procedure. Everything good again....at least nothing serious.
@@DMExotics I'm glad it was nothing serious. Well, I'm sure the bill was lol. Congrats on all the sales! Seems like most retailers generally are a bit swamped right now compared to years past. Although the shipping diversions recently make me worry a tad about inflation/supply issues again.
@@VirginiaBronson Insurance covered @90% so that was fine :) I feel like international air freight may have come down a little bit from what it was during the pandemic when they jacked their rates. I know for domestic, FedEx is going up 6% on the 1st. For sea cargo in the Mediterranean, yeah that is getting complicated but poking at so many countries with a stick is not going to go over very well.
@@DMExotics Good point.
Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful shipment
mornin! awesome stuff, especially the big carinata and spilotes. Love how banded the spilotes is
I saw my first Ptyas carinata this morning. My local Reptile shop C and T Exotics have added a pair of Melanistic Ptyas carinata to their collection. Very impressive Snakes to meet up close. No doubt they originated with you. I didn't even know there were any here in the UK but they bought these from Crystal Palace Reptiles in London.
see you at the reptile super show in pomona.
Weeks watch reptiles shows been doing lot like this video, thanks
Merry Christmas Dan. Hope 2024 will be good for you.
Yess!! Tokay!
lots of great animals
Awesome!!!! Beautiful babies!! Dan they did it again!!! I was unsubscribed again!!! You might wanna mention during your videos at the beginning or ending asking everyone to check and see if they’re still subscribed. We went through this about 2 weeks ago if you remember.?.?.? That sucks they do this chit!!! Anyways to you and Apple a very merry Christmas and super happy new years!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Thanks for letting me know. Merry Christmas to you as well.
Good morning Dmextios have a super day have a great day have a nice day have a awesome day have a cool day Dmextios
Always amazing snakes, Dan. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like you're losing weight, "retirement" agrees with you.
Safe travels home!!!
My wife said the same thing and I did drop a couple pounds. I have been rehabbing my knee with a lot of daily walking and cardio so that is why I am down to 220. My gym is waiting for me and my joints are feeling healthy so looking forward to switching things up yet again.
Great video
Merry Christmas to you and Apple!
Thank you, same to you and family
Fun seeing you try not to get bit by that lovely Ptyas :D))
Getting bit would be so much better for views.....bonus if it was venomous.
Nice animals like always you an apple have a good holiday and a good New Year’s
Thank you, same to you and family
It really seems like you guys capitalize on the time you have whether it's using an unplanned trip to get things done wherever you ended up, making time for each other, working on so many things at once etc. It's really motivating.
Yes, I have a hard time sitting around and doing nothing.
That big indo carinata! Absolutely spectacular! Am I right in saying you prefer the Malaysian ptyas carinata?
Ouch! I absolutely detest root canal surgery. Really bad experience with it when I was young. That’s what happens when you get in to too many fights.😂
Never thought about flying but I’m thinking too many scuba dives lol. Look at the Malaysian ones in my other videos…which ones do you like better?
@@DMExotics
Yeah I saw those. I prefer Indonesia carinati. I like the markings on the tail. No idea why. It just looks cool
Wow! They are all amazing Animals in this video! The Ptyas carinata is huge, what length are they capable of reaching? The Elephant Trunk Snakes, Tentacled Snakes, Kukri Snakes and Mock Vipers are particularly interesting. I love Tokay Geckos they are beautiful Lizards and than fun to deal with sometimes.
Realistically I will say roughly 11'. I have heard people say 13-14' but many were UA-camrs "YouTubing" and perpetuating misinformation so the verdict is still out for all that.
Thats still pretty huge for a Colubrid. You hear the same thing about many of the Beauty Snakes.
@@philipmead5113 Blue beauties can still get pretty massive as with many colubrid species. I am not a giant but definitely not a small person. If my wife was holding that snake it would appear even larger. I heard that after Christmas, Santa's elves have been hired to film retics at Prehistoric Pets so I may try to have them stop by on their way down for some filming here of my own..
😂 A lot of those Retics are very overweight. They should be pretty slender and lean for their length. They're not Burmese Pythons or Anacondas. There are some interesting studies of Anacondas in the wild and the difference is the diet of males and females which contribute to the size difference of the sexes and it makes me wonder if some other species are the same.
Your animals are always amazing. How much are you asking on the cb tokays? And do you have pics of the ones for sale?
We will have 20+ at the Reptile Super Show
16:18 Mock Viper this full grown?
Males are smaller than females. Females can get bigger but on average this is about it.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard them being called red eyed armored lizards 😂
Yes, if you are not doing international business, your common names are different than local Indonesian names in play. I like scientific names but that seems to intimidate a lot of hobbyists so I have been trying to toss out common names so people don't ask me in the comments(I don't like them).
@@DMExotics yeah, I don’t mind really using scientific names when it comes to invertebrates, but that could be because it’s more prevalent in that side of the hobby
@@kevinpoe8137 Scientific names are also prevalent in international business so I am conditioned to it. Invoices, CITES, permits, etc.

You'll be to Thailand before you know it.
