As Dutchies I'm kinda offended by the stereotype part about Amsterdam. Amsterdam isn't all about drugs and sex.
Love X Esmay I know that as I have a few friends from Amsterdam who hate that stereotype, but the fact is that most British people go there for those reasons.
Glad I convinced my UK guy (being in a Ldr too, I'm Dutch he's English) that we've got more to offer than just drugs and the red light district. Amsterdam is so full of culture and arts, lots to enjoy. I hope you come back to the city! :)
