One of the most beautiful songs ever written.
My favourite Beatles song xx
I am 71 years old, live alone many miles from my main family, usually quite happy with my own company ... some late nights, I will sink a litre of wine and listen to my beloved & favourite '60's recordings ... this version of the Beatles " leaving Home " has just about knocked me out ... a beautiful version of a beautiful song ... all the more poignant because at one time my own darling daughter was close to that "leaving-home" disaster.
All is well now and my dear daughter is safely back within the family fold .. now the song just makes me cry ... but tears of relief and joy how we avoided the fate of the girl in the song ....
+Jim LHun Thank you for your comments, Jim!
Great story jim,its such a great song and they wrote hundreds of them.Great great artists, spectacular talents these guys were.
Its a great cover by the way.
a Wonderfull tale!
Jim LHun........One of the most beautiful (and perhaps the most powerful and emotional) of The Beatles' ballads. And it happens to be based on a true story that appeared in a newspaper article that Paul was reading. Her name was/is Melanie Coe. 909 1
Can one imagine someone just 26 to 28 years old writing such a perfect song and lyrics?
Also, what a wonderful cover orchestra and singers!!
23..24...25
Dear Mauro, Paul McCartney was only 24 years old when he wrote She's Leaving Home.
They started the Sgt Pepper recordings during the start of 1967. McCartney would have been 25 in June 1967.
Pure genius. ❤

This song is a masterpiece. Heartbreaking and hopeful in equal measures. The vocalists are superb, and the way that the harp and the strings tell the story is magnificent xxx
The Beatles are a gift from God to humans
i agree, must be true and amazing that they were all born and lived within a 5 mile radius of each other
Off course
Evolved souls who incarnated on earth to bring with them a message of love 🙏
It’s amazing
Yep.
Thank you for an ensemble who want to play these songs.
A wonderful adaptation of the original. This Beatles' tune should be heard more often.
ALL Beatles tunes should be heard more often. And I'm sure there's always someone playing them somewhere in the world, because their songs are for the ages. They are uniquely gifted.
I have been a mad Beatles fan since 1962 and I believe this is a fantastic version of appreciation for the Beatles and Lennon and McCartney. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!! Backing vocalist is perfect.
Thank you, Kerry!
The backing vocals from the other guy Neal is it? Good key and to sound like John Lennon you make him proud. Happy to say their music will be around till the end of the Earth :)
Kerry Russell
Thanks! The other guy is Anthony Pomes.
@@Jariel3311 Superb vocals.
@@ClariceAust Thank you, Clarice!
This Has Been Done To The Letter, The Original And Proper Way! Absolutely Lovely The Harp Player Deserves Credit Too!
Listening to this for the first time as much of the world is finally emerging from the pandemic. The orchestra and vocalists did a beautiful job on this wonderful song.
If you aren't familiar with Beatles music, you have a wonderful journey of discovery ahead of you !
Aye that background vocalist dpin Lennons parts is killing it ✨
What a great perfomance, two great vocalists. Fantastic orchestra.
Quite possibly the best cover ever of this song!
One road love affair
Have you heard the cover by the Analogues?:

How can I respect any music done today when this is what I grew up listening to?
I know what you mean. I've been coming to Starbucks lately ... and have discovered from their music playing (in the place over their sound system) that there really are in fact talented people out there doing some really nice stuff. One recent one I've learned about is a young gal named Angel Olsen. Check her out and see if like me you find her to be a pleasant surprise. I guess basically the stuff I'm talking about is something they call "indie music."
I'm 18 and though I love today's music nothing will ever beat The Beatles. They are timeless. But you should check out artists like Tame Impala and Mac DeMarco who have a unique Beatles-y vibe!
I'm nearly 60 years old and love today's music also its just that i listen to what's underground and not what's commercial.I'll check out what you said.Check out the Mona Lisa Twins.Austrian girls that love Beatles and British beat music and write good songs of there own.
I've been listening to Mac Demarco's Salad Day's LP.Thanks for the tip.
You're not looking deep enough, like Danny said
Brilliant! Superb! Simply wonderful! Thank you so very much for this excellent cover version of a much beloved song from the inimitable Beatles.
Absolutely beautiful rendition of a Beatles song...Well done I loved your musical presentation...thanks
When that singer sang "home" I couldn't help but smile.
This song make me cry EVERY. TIME!!! Tbe arrangements...a divine piece of art, literally!!! Thank you to Mike Leander, George Martin and The Beatles for this priceless gift❤❤❤
Wow mate Brilliant The whole orchestra & vocals
From Perú ... Wonderful ... I'm gonna cry ... My God
EXCEPTIONAL!
Wow now that was excellent 👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍😸😸😸😸😸😸
Absolutely, beautifully performed.
+janmarsh Thank you, Jan!
George Martin produced the song, but not arranged the strings section, according to Wikipedia: " The day before McCartney wanted to work on the song's score, he learned that George Martin, who usually handled the Beatles' string arrangements, was not available. He contacted Mike Leander, who did it in Martin's place. It was the first time a Beatles song was not arranged by Martin. Martin was hurt by McCartney's actions, but he produced the song and conducted the string section. The harp was played by Sheila Bromberg, the first female musician to appear on a Beatles record."
if you say so.
Interesting bit of trivia. I was well aware that as good as the Beatles were, none of them had any formal training with regard to musical arrangements. George Martin, often called "the fifth Beatle" was responsible for complex arrangements as Beatles music itself became increasingly complex. I don't think it's stretching truth too much to say that without Martin, the Beatles would have been just another guitar group, albeit with the bonus of having two sometimes three incredible songwriters. Time, place and circumstance.....
@@logotrikes ''I don't think it's stretching truth too much to say that without Martin, the Beatles would have been just another guitar group'' sorry but the Beatles, being as talented as they were, would develop their creativity and natural talent into their music sooner or later, even without Martin. They were too gifted to just stay a guitar group. Though he really helped them and learned them much, you're now giving him way too much credit. George Harrison became interested of own willingness in Indian Music, John Lennon became an expert in pschydelia, surrealism, etc, Paul McCartney was a natural born melody and harmony genius who could conceive of songs in a matter of seconds or by usual day - to day circumstances that nobody would profit from, as well as those three being amazing multi - instrumentalists and had great musical instincts. Add Ringo in and you have a perfect combination. How could guys like these keep singing She Loves You over and over?
And don't forget that many of the orchestral instruments' roles were thought up by a Beatle: Paul wrote the French Horn solo on For No One and the Piccolo Trumpet solo on Penny Lane, George Martin only took down notation and added nothing to the melody, as well with Paul choosing the instruments, etc. John Lennon came up with I Am The Walrus' arrangement's opening melody and hummed it to George Martin, George Harrison had the whole structure of Within You Without You's arrangement in his head and just needed Martin to work out the details... They were far more than a casual rhythm and blues band, and didn't need Martin to prove that. And if they were a casual rhythm and blues band, that sound, the raw beauty of the melodies and the way their voices and instruments blended were already proof of something greater than usual, even in 1964, way before their transformation. Of course George Martin helped and guided them, but giving him all the credit for the Beatles' sound, magic, style and instrumentation is very unfair, to say the least.
Thank you so much for your explanation!
I want to be as good as the Beatles were as musicians when I get older, but how the hell can I get onto the same level as this?
Practice practice practice.............
What a WONDERFUL Version.
+Stewart Campbell Thank you, Stewart!
the genius of the Beatles
That was virtually note perfect. Bravo! 👏👌
If I closed my eyes, I would bet money that was Paul singing lead and the guy that did John's part was spot on! These guys are awesome!
Que maravillosa música y letra, insuperables THE BEATLES, lo mejor que dio la música. Los N* 1 y no hay más.
Great job, folks!
Amazing! Everyone sounds terrific: Vocals, Strings, Harpist. Simply Amazing...Well done!
I am in tears!
A most excellent and professional cover - Well done to all.
Beautifully haunting!. Just shows how good the band and George Martin were back in their day in that their music can transition to a traditional orchestral setting and be this good. Nice one!
Possibly the BEST EVER "cover" version to this song......Thank you Jariel3311 for taking the time and making the effort to share this treasure with the rest of us.....Smiles and Cheers
Thank you, Stuport! It's been a real labor of love. Please "Like" our Facebook page (The Magical Orchestra) to keep up with future concerts and other news.
Outstanding. THE BEATLES. Pete sr
I thought it was macca singing at first, until I saw the singer, excellent version of this great song, pity the 39 Beaver fans who didn't like it.
As did I.
Omg, what a wonderful version. Beautiful, beautiful voices. I thought I was listening to the Beatles. Oh, to be able to make music like these talented string instrument players.
Hermoso que grande los Beatles ❤
Great Great Great job. Always loved this song. Even as a little kid I loved this song.
That harpist literally killed it WOW
Just phenomenal how good these two guys sang this. Beautiful job by the orchestra too. What a treat!!
HERMANO NO ESTO YA ES DEMASIADO PRECIOSO PARA MIS OÍDOS
amazing capturing paul voice..
when I listen this and all other Beatles-Maccas songs, tears come to my eyes just to think that one day he is going to pass....
BTW, Jim LHun, I recently saw on UA-cam that the girl that the song was written about is real and when she heard the song, she realized that it had been written from a newspaper article outlining her exploits as a young girl and her ultimate departure from her parents home......It is a sad story but an exquisite composition with an extraordinary rendering of it by the "Magical Orchestra", everything from the vocals, harp and strings....Everything is excellent!.....
Tears.
Beautiful!
Wow. Beautiful.
A masterpiece
Half expected to hear For the Benefit of Mr. Kite after this, lol!
Wonderfull, tank's 👏👏👏👏👏👏🌹
Muito muito muito MUITO obrigado MESMO por isso, coisas assim salvam vidas!
Spectacular!
Just the Best band ever
A superb version of a superb song. Had the pleasure of meeting Paul McCartney & George Martin in Elstree Studios. Their collaboration together on this is phenomenal, with Martin's spectacular classical counterpointing & arrangement, prelevent. Unimaginable without. Congratulations on a magical take....well done. ⭐🌻☮️
Actually the string arrangement on "She's Leaving Home" was not by George Martin. He was too busy with other projects at the time. The song was recorded during the sessions for the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The day before McCartney wanted to work on the song's score, he learned that George Martin, who usually handled the Beatles' string arrangements, was not available. McCartney contacted Mike Leander, who did the arrangement in Martin's place. This was the first time a Beatles song was not arranged by Martin. Martin, though hurt by this, produced the song and conducted the string section in a session on 17 March 1967 that generated six takes. Martin did the string arrangements for "Eleanor Rigby" and "Yesterday" and (as far as I know) all the other orchestral arrangements on Beatles songs, just not this one.
Beautiful.
This is beautiful, thank you. It is so beautiful, it makes me cry
Great tribute
No doubt about it!! The Beatles is THE band!! They have traveled beyond ages, musical styles, countries, tastes, and even "across the universe" (check the voyager) ; they are the lighthouse that illuminates modern music. And in the end the love we take is equal to the love we make.
Wow! Surprisingly very good.
What is it about a bunch of people like u or me, using a bunch of wood and metal and other materials playing a bunch of notes in a particular order that can produce such an incredible internal feeling of such joy it almost hurts!
a very good performance
Incrível. Tudo perfeito. A voz do cantor que faz o Paul é muito bonita.
wow -- that is simply perfect pitch. The falsetto is just lovely -- so much range in this song. I literally thought it was Paul's voice piped in at first. Superb.
Thank you, Tim!
Marvelous
Nicely done.
Wow!😍💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
This one and Eleanor Rigby are so haunting, beautiful arrangement.
beautiful!
Magnifique
How can this have only 3.8K likes?!? It was fantastic.
An excellent version. True to, and honouring the original.
"She's Leaving Home' is one of Paul's emotional tear jerkers. It makes my eyes water, it's so sadly beautiful. Much like his "You Never Give Me Your Money" and "Golden Slumbers" are.
Beautifull , very good !!!
Impecables
Wow, so beautiful! This is a fantastic arrangement and performance. Everything is spot on.

Superb
Beautiful!!! Simply, BEAUTIFUL!!!! Great rendition. Mr. Tabacco has an awesome voice and executed the song without veering from the original. My respect to a great orchestra. The beatles came a long way from 'Love Me Do'. One of the most influential music, songs ever brought by the 60's.
