My brother USC also brought in Isaiah Raikes DT Texas A&M, Mississippi state DeCarlos Nicholson CB, Both Arnold Brothers from Oregon state, Ramsey & Humphreys from UCLA , & DE from Vandy in the transferportal. also it's Jarvis Boatwright, not jalen Boatwright. USC also brought in new coaching staff. north Dakota state coach as LB coach, Rams DL/run game coordinator as usc DL coach/ass DC, UCLA DC D'ANTONE LYNN as DC and Doug Belk as secondary coach. USC has talent in this class .

Have faith, SC has put together a phenomenal coaching staff. We will not be the same defense. Coach Riley has gone out and put a staff of PROVEN developers together. It wasn't the best recruiting class but there is a lot of upside to a lot of these young men. So have a little faith. Fight on ✌🏾

Doug Belk former DC from Houston who NICK SABAN wanted to hire. And we got Isaiah Raikes from A&M. One more DT and a ctr on the O-line and we'll be just fine.
The word was that before Williams went to Georgia that they were trying to get Belk also.
They’ve built an incredible foundation for a culture that recruits and transfers have a chance to view and get behind.

People are UNDERESTIMATING our NEW defense!
I NEVER go by the numbers or the number of stars a player has!! I've seen 1-2 star recruits come in and absolutely dominate on the field. You never know how a player is going to come in and fight to win their position and fight to keep it. Yeah it really helps when the coaching staff can help develop a player, but that player has to WANT to not only be there, but also has to be coachable and have the drive.
Big college football team like USC that’s having problems with finishing the season strong shouldn’t have a mediocre season. The issues start at the locker room , they have the financial stability of funding the program. This program should be a top 10 football program every year and reaching the conference championship.
It's all about the staff this off season dude. Watch the development this year. You will see lots of development and
a much better defense in 2024. We will be fine in the B1G... the coaching on the D side is 100% better now.

Doubt you will see the same thing as last year. It's hard to believe that considering the entire staff has changed. Lynn didn't have that problem at UCLA. Entz is the truth and proved that at NDSU. Henderson brings experience and knowledge from the NFL and you will 💯 see a true difference. A complete 180.
For the defense there is only one direction to go. They will be much improved for one reason 1:the new Dc and coaches will lay down the "law" on what a real defense looks and performs like. They will be more physical, aggressive, in better positions to make plays, think and react quicker. They will allow 20 to 25 points per game. Pete Carroll will be proud.
It wasn’t a disappointing season really. Riley chose to gamble on Grinch for one more season. All the new talent meant nothing if you can’t coach them up. I believe coach Hennys D line will be one of the best in the country.✌️
Well I’m very optimistic with this new defensive coaching staff, I applaud Riley for finally ditching Grinch bum ass, This not the same coaching staff coming back, This is a solid ass staff coming in and UCLA defense was really good and we have their DC now, Also picking up HOU coordinator and Rams D Line coach who coached the best DT in football Donald, This new staff will be excellent and I will return to this video, It’s not all about the recruits COACHING matters, And Riley bringing in ND St HC on the defensive side was brilliant also
Facts. However this doesn't excuse Lincoln Riley from bringing Alex Grinch's bum@$$ after the Tulane game. Grinch should have been dismissed after the Tulane game. It cost Caleb Williams a shot at the Playoffs.

I mean yeah the recruiting class looks a little subpar on the rankings ig. But the players do look promising af idk how you missed it. But you forgot to mention USC’s main strategy. They didn’t waste their time on the top of the top recruits. They grabbed a ton of guys just below the surface and hired probably the best defensive staff in the country who are all also amazing developers.

With our new staff and the talent that is coming back and not utilized because of our shit DC and the majority of those young guys are already enrolled I’m definitely hopeful and will always FIGHT ON✌🏿

In 4 of the 5 losses the USC Offense was a NO SHOW. Yes the defense sucked but so did the offense. Just because they padded stats vs weak opponents in first 6 weeks doesn't mean SC had a great offense.

Washington defense sucked and they made it to the natty. Look, if we score 40 a game. We just need a decent defense. With our new coaching staff, we'll have a top 25 defense. Look what Lynn did with UCLA in 1 year. To 10 rushing defense, to 20 overall. Remember, we scored 42 against Louisville, whose defense was top 6. We'll be fine.

USC spent SEVEN MILLION dollars on the new defensive staff. They have a former FCS champ HC Matt Entz as an LB coach, the best interior line coach in the NFL with Eric Henderson, Houston DC and Bama secondary coach Doug Belk for secondary, and D’Anton Lynn, a Ryan/Ravens alum at DC who took UCLA from 94th nationally to 10th best defense in one season.
We are making moves in recruiting and the portal, but even if we didn’t get a single new player, USCs floor is top 20 defense in 2024.
