Fantastic interview!!! I will be adding Little Rot to my TBR right away. I actually have quite a few of Akwaeke’s books on my Goodreads TBR, so I’m thinking I’m going to have to purchase them now.

Wonderful interview! I love how Emezi talks about their writing with a sense of discovery. Really great questions…insightful and thought provoking. Love this content! I haven’t read any of their books. What would you recommend as a first read?
They do have a fabulous way of talking about their writing. (Those are their pronouns.) I would start with maybe reading Pet… or The Death of Vivek Oji… or any of their books really, those would be my suggestions as good in’s to their work.
