Just received it. It has a few drawbacks. 1) It does not come with arca swiss plate type ballhead and it is not changeable! 2) Leg angle cannot be adjusted. The only adjustment is laying it almost flat! 3) No bubble leveler. But it is not a deal breaker. Most cameras now come with a leveler. I picked it up for $70, so no complains.
I also bought it yesterday but I am a bit sad that you can't take off Ulanzi Claw mount base from tripod head, I would prefer to have screw mount + separate claw base...
I just received my tripod and was confused about the claw so... there are always people like me just starting out that get new gear and have trouble with the seemingly simplest things. I couldn't figure out how to take the rubber stop off of the screw that attaches my camera!! Anyway, I thought, well, its on a screw so I guess I turn it - nope. So I just pulled hard and it came off. Also have to check out to see what the red measure system means yet?? If you add even the simplest things to your videos, there will be many of "ME" that needs your help.
Yeap. There is a groove next to the phone holder (check 3:51), and you can easily fix a 10x6mm bubble level there with Blu-Tack. In fact, the groove looks like it was originally reserved for the bubble level, but it may be because of the product price that the bubble level is not included.
This could be one of the best travel tripods for the money. The price is right!
I bought the tripod using your link. Great review!
Wow nice thank you

Ulanzi MT 55 - Swiss plate.
I would like to see it packer in the side of a DSLR style backpack, how easy it is to pack up and move when on location.

OK I will try to be more comprehensive and always comment any questions...I will eventually answer. Thanks.
Is Ball head interchangeable ?
Nope.
Hey there,
Does this tripod let you go in portrait with a mirrorless camera.
Yes, it will allow you to take portrait photos with any mirrorless/dslr cameras.
Is there a way to add a bubble level to the ball head?
Your camera should have a leveler. You may check the camera manual.
