Glad you liked the products you used. I loved the clarifying shampoo , leave in, gel and refresher as well. I also tried the cream brûlée styler as well and loved it. The scents become stronger as the products begin to mix, but I don't mind since they smell fruity.🍒🍋🍊🍓👍🏽😋

I have never tried any of their products but I only hear great things about their lemongrass leave in, the masks (the avocado one you tried and honey and sage one as well), and the black soap shampoo! People swear by those 4 products for sure! ESPCIALLY the lemongrass leave in and the Deep conditioners! I love my hair masks I have more hair masks in my collection than anything!

Same here. Make your own, I use water with a few pumps of the ufd curly magic and oil.
Ladee T. That is how I refresh, spray of water, curl love and curly magic, or supercurl and curly magic. And always seal with oil!

I have 3 bottles of the conditioner! I 💗 Alikay Naturals! I 2 jars of the Shea yogurt! While I have avocado mask and like it my fav is the honey sage deep conditioner. And the oil is past fav.

Hey Lydia, I love how defined your curls are, we have very similar curl patterns so I watch your videos a lot. The only problem I have with my hair is that the ends of my hair are defined curls but the roots are frizzy, I honestly get frustrated sometimes because detangling doesn't help, could you give me some advice on this please?
Thank you!! I would say use a leave in and then use a gel to smooth it down! I have a video on my channel about how to tame the frizz in the roots of you hair if you wanna check that out!

Yeah it could if you wanted! But I find that the curl refresher soaks in my hair better
Hello! I have been buying products for my 6 yr old daughter's hair and nothing seems to work! She has 3c/4a hair and I would 💝 for her hair to look like yours! I don't know rather to use Alikay or Aunt Jackie's plus her hair easily tangles and have knots,dry, easily mats up to the point I would love to try different hairstyles but she complains whenever I try anything concerning the back part of her hair plus she has never had a trim. Her hair has been manageable until she turned 4 yrs old plus she has eczema.Also winter is around the corner I brought a new blow dryer and put it on warm heat.Summer time I let her hair air dry. Any suggestions would help alot! Thank you in advance!
I would say either are great! Alikay has more natural ingredients that may be better for your daughters issues with eczema so maybe start off with that brand and see how it works for her?
Soultanicals has great detangling leave ins. Maybe she needs a trim. If I don't wash my hair often it will tangle and mat up. I was 1-2 times a week. I have to deep condition. Before I comb through my hair on wash day I detangle my hair with cheap conditioners....Hello Hydration and/or a conditioner from Trader Joe's. I do this before adding shampoo. I have about 3c/4a hair also. The back of my head is the worst. But for sure washing often has helped me a lot. I then use better quality products for washing and deep conditioning.

Does the curl refresher maintain the hold that you have before using it or does it soften the hold? Cause I've used a refresher from a different brand before and it made my hair feel really soft, but more frizzy than before I used it.
If you go in with a lot it will soften the hold a little but I find that it mostly moisturizes your without making it frizzy

Alikay aloe berry styling gel is my jam! No glycerin, no alcohol. I did not like the avocado mask. It was meh. I haven't tried any other of their products. Tropical

Hey Lydia! I’d love to see you try the Amika Curl Corps Defining Cream and Gel. They’re a bit pricey, but they’ve been working wonders in my hair. Right now, it’s my holy grail!
