See I work on a golf course and fish while I'm doing jobs, or driving around the course. Never really thought about it but this is really the way I fish just looking for reactive fish.👍🏼👍🏼
To me, power fishing definitely includes jerkbait fishing, I had to purchase a very light reel/rod combo just for jerkbaits because my half body was in pain after 4 hours of constantly jerking the rod.
I was a big buzzbait thrower back in the 90's before I stopped fishing. I threw those things into cover, open water, and nearly set a stump on fire determined to annoy the bass I finally coated into hitting it. I used them like a castable net. Caught a lot of bass by throwing as far as my zebco would allow and dragging it along the bank. PB actually moved off the bank and intercepted it. I guess my power fish method could be called dragging the bank, or perseverance pays off in the case of the stump.
Thanks for comment and watching So true whatever lure you chose it's all about working a pond or section of lake to find the active bass. That's tough fishing with a jerkbait all day long. Impressive to go 4 hours straight. Now that's getting it done brother
Thanks for the comment. Really enjoy reading them. Use to love throwing a buzzbait. My top 2 PB were caught on a buzzbait banging it against cat tails. Both on the same day back to back. Crazy never really got close to that weight again. Thanks again

That's bass fishing. Some of those golf course ponds have some huge bass.
Good luck this summer

That was supposed to say goated into striking, and I started fishing again last year.
