I just wrote a comment, is it just me or does this seem incredibly dangerous???? why is he on such a small platform, them below him, no protection, etc. it seems horribly designed I thought many times they used cgi for this
Truly trained swordsmen are much more accurate and swift with their art. I'm surprised they didn't invite a master swordsmen to see if they were a cut above the rest.
@@John-Doe-Yo I mean, they brought several experts on the show before. No reason not to do so here. Hell, Adam could represent the average person, and the trained swordsman could have been the way they ramp the test up, as they often did. They explain the experiment, we see what the swordsman can do, then they come back to explain the results. They are still the face, have a purpose, and we get to see what a trained swordsman can do. Which I promise would be super fun to see.
I can tell you from first hand experience it does lmao I've cooked in restaurants for the passed 13 years and I can't tell you how many grape tomatoes and potatoes have been cut in half in mid air 😅
Need to try this with that working lightsaber that Hacksmith built, no need to worry about hitting the fruit with the edge of the katana if the entire sword is hot plasma!
I don't think it would actually make a significant difference. Fruit is insanely easy to cut through, you can do it with a very blunt blade and poor edge alignment.
I'm getting nervous seeing him swinging a sword wildly and quickly in a small circle with no protection, while people are right below him without protection. Why not a stable platform? This seems so dangerous! or is it just me???
So I get that Adam is having fun with Fruit Ninja Kinect (yes, that is what he was playing), but I hope he realizes that the kinect isn't tracking his sword. It's tracking his hands, so none of his sword swings are going to match up. Still fun though.
Hell yeah! Aussies deserve mythbusters, too! I don't understand the need to restrict content like this specifically to the USA. One would assume more views means more money, but, hey, whatevs 🙃
What a massive waste of food. I love this show as much as the next guy, but watching a pair of millionaires destroy dozens if not hundreds of pounds of food to prove...basically nothing, is a little hard to take.
I love how excited Adam gets. Like he looks like he's having a blast! I miss Mythbusters
"I have to be super, super concentrated."
I see what you did there.
Imagine if he let the sword go on accident and it stuck in one of the jugglers
I was thinking that the entire time.
Ouch! That would hurt like he- *Slashed* ... That.
Where was his wii remote strap?

That would be horrible.
I miss how Adam Savage was good at all things nerd and made it look beyond cool. There should be a "Weird Al" trophy for this.

I mean if you had the opportunity to play real life Fruit Ninja, wouldn't you?
So, I recently started training with some truly skilled swordsmen. Last lesson I legit saw a dude casually throw a cut and hit a moving fly.
But they're both the faces of the show and if someone else is gonna test the myths for them they'd have no reason to be on screen or be involved

How did the watermelons and pineapples NOT hit anyone's head??!! 😳
they are professional watermelon tossers dude
@@aquaticnstuff7666 Lol I would bet this was their first time tossing fruit, also the trajectory of the toss changes after being sliced
editing is an amazing tool content makers use😂😂😂
That looks so much fun!😊

I didn't know Adam could juggle, lol
That's pretty cool!
I’m glad the sword didn’t slip out his hands
They are throwing it at him instead of arching it in front of him.
Well that's just false there are several clips showing they're tossing it the same way the game does
Did the chainsaw actually ever make it in the game?
Yeah it did, look it up man
I think they were shocked the myth was tested in real life.
This was fun. ☺☺☺
VPN fixes that silly restriction. 🙂 🇦🇺

What the hey, I had never watched this episode. More Mythbusters please 👍
Well this is certainly good cardio if anything else 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why jugglers? Why not a robot? Did they not have Grant yet?
Of course, in any battle, a chainsaw will always beat a katana. Even when it is for cutting fruits instead of.. you know what
Matrix reference, sparing program
I did this with potatoes irl
Anyone up for smoothies ?
What is wrong with the sound? Sounds terrible on my phone. All other videos are fine.
No views? I mist be early.
Honestly same

People could have eaten the fruits
So what? People could have drank the water that fills up your toilet.
Talk about fruit salad.
CAN I PLAU
Tomatoe is not a fruit!
Fraid so

I'd put it in the fruit section.
