Xiegu X-5105 qrp ham radio

The latest addition to the ham shack is the x5105, qrp HF + 6 meters. It seams that I’m developing a slight addiction to small radios.
The programming is pretty simple, much easier than a lot of other radios. The buttons and the dial feel like high quality
Further testing is needed but I have pretty high hopes for this little rig.

Can someone help me, I have a Xiegu X5105 and I would like to use it on the truck as well. In Europe the 11 m band is legal CB band. Did anyone manage to emit in 11 m? I am waiting for your answer 73

Hi Sud. Here in the states, 11 meter is also our CB band. I’m not sure if the xiegu x5105 will transmit on that band or not. I’ll have to give it a try, sometime. I just did a quick search online and it says that it can NOT transmit on 27 MHz.

I didn't know about thr PSK decode. Have you tried to send PSK using a Morse code key?

I’ve never used a key to send psk. I’m not aware of that working? It would be interesting, and I assume it would be a relatively simple program to make it happen.

@@PreppingOhio the elecraft radios have that feature... It just kinda is. Do you know code? Enough to send your call sign? You can plug a key in and try. (I don't have a 5105 to play with)
