Killing people is inconsistent. Also, I can’t hear enemy footsteps what I hear is my footsteps. If they could fix those two things and put in a traditional multiplayer where 100 kills for a team wins the game would be excellent.

Not every shooter needs a BR..Whoever said that is just stuck in the Cod universe..You have to be in the mood for a BR.
The problem is the game offers little more as far as MP. Doesn’t do it better than COD that’s the problem.
@@cspowers82They need more game modes. I’m having fun now ranking up all the guns, but i can see it getting stale real quick without some updates. I don’t know how close they can get to cod without copyright issues but there’s a few things you need for a cod style MP to work. Killstreaks, some sort of a prestige system and a no-respawn mode like snd are a few things i’m really missing atm.
That’s like 10 years ago saying every shooter doesn’t need multiplayer. The fan base just expects it at this point because that’s the bar that’s been set as a groundbreaking game mode.

Tim something I’ve noticed with halo and xdefiant is shorter seasons with more cosmetic rewards than random bs that cod has in theirs. Shorter seasons allows for more frequent updates and cosmetics and possible new modes and weapons

Apart from how obviously dumb your comment is, xdefiant has sbmm upto level 25, where most people still are. If you're gonna try to troll people, at least have it make sense and try harder to not embarrassing yourself.

after level 25 you will get paired up with closer leveled players. 'according to the game there is skill based matchmaking' READ the description on the Welcome Playlist
It’s not SBMM it says it tries to match people due to latency so whoever’s closest and you can toggle crossplay and can toggle input so mnk can play against just mnk if they want. Pretty cool but not SBMM

Not speaking for other people but for me I can actually confirm I have been thoroughly enjoying my time watching this content instead of people sweating their chicken tender off playing sbmm cod. Sbmm is what drove me away from cod because of how sweaty it became so I don’t enjoy it

This game made me wanna play BO3 and I did. BO3 feels much better in shooting and in movement as well in my opinion. The game is 9 years old... Current CoD games are way more developed. So a game like XDefiant in 2024 feels oudated. Shooting feels like a mobile game, movement is really not that great and the animations are underwhelming. I get that its free, but still, it feels like a low budget game.

When you play apex, everything else feels like a stiff, imprecise, clunky, cheap, pile of shite. I gave it 3-4 hours and uninstalled.

Been loving XDefiant, reminds me of old MW2 or MW1, Good gunplay and super fast paced. And with season 1 now out with new map and guns. Just all around a blast to play. And yeah SBMM is dog sht. For one the bad players get better watching and learning from better people....and just like in real life with guns some people are good some are not. Look next time and just because their K/D is bad they may have the highest OBJ score playing for the win over kills. Great video as always man.
