Shame the hotels didn't combine the beautiful Catskills to States that would appreciate free parking, cocktail parties, free golf( where in areas golfers had to start 6 am to beat brutal heat)dancing(unlike Nevada) prior to complimentary shows, free Current movies , free day camp and counsellors day and night etc,. Millions were wasted trying to gain guests from each other's hotels and took everything for granted plus unlimited delicious food and free tennis.
It was really sad to see the area in a whole, so many small towns holding on. I hope the new owners of the Nevele can start a trend and turn the area around. It really is such a beautiful area.
@@kenopsiaexplorersjasonlol thanks I’ll try my best, definitely one of the more sus places of seen. Managed to sneak around security at an abandoned mall one time so hopefully I’ll do alright

I can’t say I’ve heard of anything more than some confusion on where the name Nevele came from. Some talk 11 school teachers some talk about 11 children if I remember correctly.
@@KenopsiaExplorersthe falls were named after the teachers, and the hotel began in the area of those same falls (even being called the “Nevele Falls Farm House” for a time), therefore the schoolteacher explanation is the most accurate
Do you think checking this out in the very near future is a bad idea due to its demolition soon. I just found out about this place and cant not check it out before its too late!
I have heard some say that its being watched now, but I have also heard that's not the case. I would say go in from the back side through the field and see what you can see.

Went back 3 times to get all the drone shots, and see as much as I could. Be cautious place is really in bad shape anymore

this place is a gem on earth 🩵
It is to bad many of these buildings days are numbered
wow the place looks so big. I wanna go to explore the place really soon. where would you recommend to park the car?
Find me on Instagram (same name) I will give you the info that I used. But I do hear there is security now.
The destruction of this once beautiful resort is heartbreaking. I will always love the Nevele.😢❤
Same. I spent a lot of time there that summer.
Went here 2 years ago . A shame it got destroyed by local kids . All fenced now and could not get inside.
It is a shame, spent a lot of Summer '23 there, kept going back to see more.

This place has been on my bucket list for a while now, hopefully ill make it up there next year
I hate to say it but the property has been sold and demo is eminent in the near future from what I’ve read
Very unfortunate to hear maybe I’ll try to push my trip up, 5 hour drive for me but definitely worth it

The chair in the skating rink was put there by me in an attempt to get a cool picture. It didn't work out 😅
So I tried to get a shot of the chair too. It also didn’t work out 🤣
is there parking nearby? also was there security there?

Sad I have 2 videos from 5 years ago...no grafetti minimal broken glass...Sad kids have to destroy everything
Yeah from what I’ve heard the covid ‘explorers’ did a number on this place. I’m glad I got to see it but I would have loved to have seen it back then.
Pre covid it was mostly natural decay. I just went back this year and it's disgusting. Especially what they did to the suite
@@KenopsiaExplorerspeople who did all of that willingly aren’t explorers, they’re vandals. big difference

Do you know when this will be demoed? I’d like to visit on the next few weeks
I haven’t hard anything new since the announcement it was sold.
@@KenopsiaExplorers do you have any advice on how to get in? Obviously I shouldn’t enter by the main gate right?
Did you make it before the fire?

Where can one park in order to get access?
We parks some dirty road around the back side I guess it was. I’ve heard of some just parking out front.
