I dont believe the TikTok ban is due to national security. If that were the case why would selling it solve the situation? If the data is already compromised, what good would selling it do for us? Here's why this all is a lie!

I think that it is almost impossible to ban this software. There is too much advertisement money invested in the TikTok environment. But the main reason is that the three letter entities in the USA do not have free access to the Chinese's backed environment. They can waltz into Google and review your data, it is not so easy getting that same information from China.

Agreed 100% Apple's ecosystem was also an issue until they slowly and quietly started "finding ways" around the encryption. I definitely believe information and control of said information is and will always be the goal when it comes to an application/service/platform that influences millions of Americans and user habits.
