One thing to note on the DC20 one being locked behind bleeding, its very simple to spend 1AP to apply bleeding via an attack that you only then need to reapply if they spend time and resources to stop it
That is a good point. If you were dual wielding hand axes, you could: 1AP attack 1SP add bleeding 1AP advantage 1AP second attack (dual wielding so no disadvantage) 1AP advantage And if you didnt take advantage, you could even get a third attack w/o disadvantage. On a side note, maybe I tried to cram too much into such a short video. I think these 5 minute videos need a tighter scope. Or maybe I should stick to the 10-20 minute range for content. Anyway, thank you for Rolling With Us!
Awesome Quick Rest. 🙂👍🏻 I have never played DnD or PF2e (only Neverwinter Nights and BG3 both on computer). So I really enjoy these types of comparisons. Looking forward to the next part. 🙂 Hi Simon. 👋🏻😉
In the "Hit or Miss? ... 0.8 Reworked New Weapon Mastery System" video The Dungeon Coach shown new Weapon Styles: ● Axe: You deal +1 damage against creatures that are Bleeding. (It seems the +1 against Bloodied will be dropped probably.) 🙂
The PF2e comparison isn't fair if weapon traits aren't even mentioned. A cursory glance on the weapon list and you'd see that it's common to find the sweep and forceful traits in the category.
Thank you for your comment. I did not mention any weapon properties in this video because I was just looking at the specializations, the things that only a martial class can do with the weapons. I am looking to do a video focused on weapon properties as well. Would you like me to do a deeper dive into each weapon rather than the bite sized nature of this one? I can go over all of the weapon stats for each system, but it would be a longer video. Thank you for your feedback
By this Axe I.... !!! Do more damage, in different ways. DC20 is simpler, and the others are also used only more situationally. You didn't mention how weapons can be customized in DC20.

Simon is famous now!
You should be clear about which timezone that 8pm start time for your Menace UO game is in ;)
That is a good point. It is EDT. Eastern Daylight Time US. We will try to include that in the future.

On a video that is just comparing the weapons like this, my final thoughts were: PF2e is the coolest one here.
Thank you for your feedback.
Each system definitely has its benefits. Critical Specialization is a nice mechanic.

DC20 weapon customization sounds like a good video topic! Look for it once Beta 0.8 is out!
@@RollWithUsDMs Yes, and it's coming out soon! Exciting.
