Still got my 2005 Terry ( in England). Been up to Scotland, down to Cornwall and right across Wales pulling a 1700kg caravan. Thus video shows just how these cars were misjudged by the press and public. As my mechanic says of it - 'it's rock solid'.
Credit to your video, hope you do more. I have my Terracan in QLD, will be deploying some mods myself over the coming year hopefully. I may fire some questions you way time to time. Is that a Scan Gauge II or a cheap copy one? If SGII, which download for 2.9? Free wheeling hubs? Highlander or base models? Front axel TOD or part time? Diff lockers? Underplate protection? I am finding it a little hard in finding aftermarket stuff for these and Gen2 Pajero, as they are getting on, and not easy to find via wreckers with additional mods done.
Hey mate thanks for that. To answer you questions. . Yes genuine scangauge ii, uses the ISO connection, has to be forced. . Yeah free-wheeling hubs from pajero/Triton with the front diff actuator locked in place and vacuum system bypassed for more reliable 4wd. . Both are base model, part-time. . No diff locks yet but definitely on the list, and factory bash plates for now too. The old terracans are honestly pretty capable with a few basic mods.👍
Glad I stumbled upon you and your channel, man. As a Terracan lover, I wish you to continue your videos.
