8:25 As far as I know you cannot parameter lock/motion record panning on the Volca Drum. I would of course love it if I’m wrong here, as that would make the Drum even better. Great sounds, appreciate you as always 🙂
Thanks for the reply. I’ll have to rewatch/ask the community, because I’ve been sitting here with my Drum for the last half an hour and I just cannot find a way to lock it per step.
The Volca Drum is the only Volca I parted with. I appreciate how crazy it can sound but didn't really fit into my overall sound. Ultimately I got a TR-6S to emulate all the famous Roland drum machines.
That’s interesting. This is my favorite one so far from the videos . I didn’t care for the volca beats too much. Has a nice fat sound but the sound d isn’t super versatile it seems. I’m looking at getting this one with the keys and bass2
I love my volca drum but, play and function buttons are dead,,, less than 2 years of use,,, so sad,,, i m trying to use it with midi with another drum machine,,,,
well, since you have one... i presume you can use a midi file to trigger it as if it were a drum module, i was wondering if it's possible to trigger it as e-drum sets, if a midi file will do it, maybe actual pads? saw a video about triggering with a pad, but haven't watched it yet, thumbnail only shows one pad, but there's hope.
This is dope! You've just inspired me to pair my volca drum with my MS-70cdr. Both devices will now get more use. Thanks!
The Volca's framework is a gem of creativity
got pretty outa hand there towards the end- i dig it! i use mine with a Zoom CDR pedal, so fun.
Awesome!

Definitely can, either live or per step. I actually do it a little bit in this video :)

Turn on edit step mode, hold down on the step you want to edit, and while holding it, adjust the parameter you want to lock :)
@@FreeBeatcan you do this with panning though? I thought you could only motion sequence/parameter lock the clear knobs
Thank you for making these tutorials!
Absolutely, thanks for watching!
This is awesome I'd like to test the volca kick with that smpltrek as well
I want to try volca kick too,,, it sounds Big
I ordered one earlier and being delivered tomorrow, looking forward to creating my own trance and techno beats with heavy metal guitar riffs over top.
Enjoy! It's a lot of fun :)

The Volca drum pairs well with the microcosm as well.
I bet!
Those two little machines punch well above their respective weights!
All volcas do. Such great value
That glitch at the end 👍
have you considered a Bastl Kastle Drum? That synth is in the same line of quirky percussion synths like the Volca Drum and the PO Office
It's been on my list for a while actually, I just keep forgetting to grab one haha. Thanks for watching!

MIDI is MIDI and all of those will work just fine
Listening to this through the IPad was so good when you put it through the Smpltrek. But towards the end you had over done the effects.
Free beat? Naw, free INDUSTRIAL HOUSEing complex
first
You win!
Can also broke easily.....
What? I haven't heard of any broken ones really haha.
