"Here Comes Summer" has been my go-to start of Summer song for years. I always felt it had some inspiration from the Beach Boys. I was truly excited when I heard about this song. Right at the top of my "Country Rockin' Summer Beach playlist, 3 spots before "Here Comes Summer". I absolutely LOVE this song. Will be a classic Summer song going forward. Thank You.
Sounds like a hit single to me. Of course I’m a bit biased since I used to manage The Beach Boys, and for the past 41 years have owned and operated Treasure Isle Recorders, one of the top studios in Music City USA.
As a life long Beach Boys fan, I love this song. Notwithstanding, I was so crushed to learn that LOCASH is not, in any fashion, "Tennessee Boys". Maryland and Indiana, apparently. Doesn't rhyme at all.....
