Repairing an Onity Hotel Door Lock

Here's a quick video of a common repair needed on Onity door locks when they will not open the door. Luckily it just needed a spring replaced. We have been preparing for a big tie-dye weekend coming up so don't worry. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!!

Well how many times can you turn the handle before you have to insert the card again?

So when the onity lock isn’t locking what’s the issue? The light turns green like any normal door would you hear the lock engaged. But when I close the door I just turn the handle on the outside without inserting the key and it opens.

Lock is in bypass mode.

You are not suppose to hold the clutch rod while turning handle after swiping card youre putting a stop resistance between the handle and the clutch rod..handle and cltuch are meant to rotate together as one..
