You're interfering with official Thalmor business
Thanks for the good laugh!
As someone who lives in California, this is a normal occurrence here.
@ZoomerStasi it's not just black people thought. Majority are white homeless people. You don't need mods for this when you have drugs.

Honestly considering how many doors within Riften ultimately lead back to Riften, it's kind of amazing Doug managed to get in there in the first place.
Stenvar disappearing for like 10 minutes then casually walking into view as if nothing happened had me dying
Stenvar is mysterious fr
That plus the brain rot got me
Who?
Who is Stenvar
Stenvar didn't have the mod installed, so every time Doug went through a new door he had to run all the way across Skyrim to get there. That's true loyalty.
I imagine stenvar was going to the real destination of each door then spending 10 minutes running across the entire map to catch back up to Doug.
“Is this man down the hall a weakling?” Doug asks as he walks up to a teleporting eldritch tentacle monster and lightly punches it in the shoulder.
As someone who has played that DLC I knew exactly that Doug was never gonna kill that thing. Bastards are a pain even at level 100 plus with Daedric and Dragonbone equipment.
That must be hyperbole or you're playing on legendary. If it's the latter, do you just hate fun?
@@trashtrash2169 as someone who plays on legendary (and with mods that make combat more intense)… the danger is what makes it fun, it can be frustrating tho
you get to a point where you can’t deal with lower difficulties anymore, when it’s easy it feels wrong
@@thedarkoverlordofall Well, unmodded legendary is shit. It just turns every fight into a drawn out kite battle. It's not any harder it's just tedious. Vanilla Skyrim doesn't have deep enough combat for difficulty modes.
@@trashtrash2169 that’s absolutely fair yeah, unmodded legendary is pretty miserable I’ll agree there
I just love how genuine Doug is with his skyrim playtime predominantly being in the intro hour, little things like wondering why all the doors are locked and not realizing it's the day cycle is nutty hilarious.
All roads may lead to Rome, but apparently all doors lead to Riften.

man, imagine walking up to a kid who's asleep, and she, without getting out of bed or even *moving,* opens her eyes and says "you're not supposed to be in here" in a completely flat tone. I'd be terrified

Imagine if the NPCs using the doors were also affected by this. You'd keep finding random (dead) civilians in Apocrypha or confused Thalmor in Sovngarde.
Nah, they're absolutely affected by this. But they know where the doors lead, so when a Riverwood guy wants to go sleep, he begins a journey that will take him all the way to Dawnstar, through the Blackreach, turn left at Miraak, and a quick walk between left and right doors of Sowngarde; all to reach his own sweet, sweet bed, just in time to wake up and go all the way back to Riverwood.
@@Norzel7 bro, your comment made me laugh, thx

This sounds like a fantastic concept for a light novel. Imagine an isekai where the protagonist's "cheat" skill is a passive that teleports him to a random location whenever he goes through a door. Of course the very first door would send him a to a backdoor of the most dangerous dungeon in the world where he finds the endgame loot in a boss reward chest, because he ended up in the room that's AFTER the boss fight.
Doug: "Wait, it's all riften?"
Randomizer mod: "Always has been"

ah, good old Uncle Sheo
I can’t believe doug popularized the term “brain rot”
The first half of the video can really be summarized as "All roads lead to Riften"
And the second half "Stenvar's Bizarre Adventure"
and you eventually end in jail
Breaks into afterlife, steals all the food, refuses to elaborate and just leaves.
Stenvar is like Batman. He appears, is cheered on, disappears without a trace, comes back when we need him the most, and leaves again
I don't know about the need him most part
hes like aslan
27:15 "Kevon? Oh! A lockpick. Thank you, Kevon!"
Don't know why that made me laugh.
I wonder if follower's doorways are not randomized? So Stenvar has to run to you if you are suddenly across the map.
That's what I assume
i always assumed the followers just got moved to your new location (for doors or fast-travel)
kinda surprised that's not the case.
I assume that the follower passing through doors thing is affected badly for this, as the exact places are mixed up. I believe it sends followers somewhere between ten feet and over a kilometre away from the player, hence why Doug never saw Stenvar at some maps or it took him a while to arrive or he'd be exactly there with him. These NPCs were never meant to deal with mods as chaotic as these.
Sorry to bring back a comment after 3 months, but followers don't actually go through doors. They're moved to the last door a player used to go into the area, but if its the first time the player is in that area the follower is moved to a default-marked door instead. Since DouguelDouguel isn't entering these areas the intended way, the "default door" the follower is placed at rarely matches the one he comes out of, so Stenvar basically has to clear the entire dungeon just to get back to him.
It's why even in the base game, sometimes when you go into an inn or shop, your follower will sprint into screen from a side room or backdoor instead of being next to you (Belethor's in Whiterun is a pretty common candidate, iirc).

Stenvar has been doing side quests while Doug runs around in the background. Stenvar is the true dragonborn. Stenvar in the main character. You are Stenvar’s companion.
Alternative title: Doug slowly losing his mind to his crippling dementia for 28 minutes and 28 seconds
When dementia starts affecting you, numbers like that become more important psychoillogically
