-Asuka bringing up the benefits of DMT
-Asuka’s bringing up a documentary show he watched recently
-Asuka re-affirming the fact that he does not feel like he entirely agrees with either side of the political spectrum
-Asuka talking about The Comedy Store in LA during the 90’s
-Asuka doing an Ad-read for AG1 by Athletic Greens
-Asuka making sure to ask his guest to explain something to his audience in simpler terms.
All-in-all, Joe Rogan is alright. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t. But I liked this video.

I like to imagine that Happy Chaos isn’t here because he either doesn’t care about getting hated or because he’s a zoner who doesn’t get hate because he has a resource so he simply ain’t phased, either scenario makes me smile.

Maybe I'm weird but I actually like going against Axl. It forces you to play a lot more methodical and slow, i can see why some would hate that, especially those without patience or the ability to learn from their mistakes, but dont we play fighting games to be challenged? If you just want to do big combos and hit buttons for free just dont leave the training mode lol.

to play devils advocate why would people wanna be forced to play slow in a fast paced 2d fighter it goes against what a majority of the cast expects to both play as and against
I feel the same way about Zato players. As a Ky player, I have to think a little more critically than just rushing in and doing pressure. Also the same reason I like playing against grapplers. It forces me to learn how to apply pressure while still maintaining a safe distance. Zoner haters are only upset because they still haven't learned how to do anything except rush in for big combos and pressure

Honeslty, the genre that really struggles with Zoners the most is Platform Fighters. Due to the unique movement those games have, it completely changes how Zoners should operate in those games and no one has really figured that out yet. The best Zoners I can think of are the Belmonts, becasue their toolkit is all about keeping you out.
I think Samus is better, since they’re more a hybrid and both their neutral zoning and “rush down” is strong. (all thanks to their neutral B)
@@sauce0rii I'm talking about just pure Zoners. Samus was intended to be more of a zoner with her projectiles. But with how Platform Fighters work, traditional zoners don't really translate well over. Same with Link and pretty much any other projectile charatcer with half decent mobility. It's a strange dilemma that people don't really realize. Belmonts fit the role a bit better due to low mobilty and the amount of space they can cover.
Personally, I feel like Zoners would be more interesting in Platform Fighters if they experimented with the kind of moves and projectiles they could throw out. Projectiles that cover wide areas or have odd movement patters, which would force your opponent to engage with the "platforming" side of Platform Fighter.
@@sauce0rii my main beef with Samus in Smash is that her moveset is real old and way less cool than her Metroid Dread moveset.
(Also her zoning is basically just three different horizontal projectiles and I think that's lame.)
I like the smash characters with really weird projectiles the most, which is probably why I became an Axl main. Belmonts are cool because their projectiles have variety and you need a very different mindset to play them, and I'm also a fan of King Dedede's Gordo and Rob's projectiles.

I'm not gonna play till S3 cause I know for a fact Asuka is going to be a great zoner. Genuinely unfun fighting a top tier zoner cause the death is drawn out as opposed to getting ran through by a Sin.
