Note for anyone wanting to download this mod. If you take the 1.20.1 version, the Mini Monstrosity’s inventory system doesn’t work. At the very least, it didn’t work for me and my friends in our modded server

I've been thinking about a combat mod like Epic Fight or Better Combat, but I'm not sure if it plays better in vanilla. For some more information, I'm planning to also install Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks and possibly some other boss mods.
Hi, thanks a lot! To be fair I haven't tried Epic Fight as much as I would like to, and I really, really like Better Combat so I suggest you this one. Mowzie's Mobs is an amazing mod that adds a few more bosses and creatures if you want to check that out too.
There’s a mod called T.O Tweaks that properly integrates Iron’s Spells and Spellbooks with Cataclysm, Alex’s Caves and Mowzie’s mobs. It’s really high quality and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re already planning on adding Iron’s Spells with Cataclysm

ancient remnant’s sandstorms are actually nerfed, summoning 3 instead of 4 sandstorms he also gains a rage meter, increases by 1 with each melee attack completely missed, and decreases by 1 with each melee attack hit(you need to dodge all 3 hits of a tail strike attack to gain 1 rage, but only 1 hit can deplete 1 rage) with all 5 rage gained, ancient remnant can use his charge attack again, instead of automatically using it depends on distance, while automatically gaining 1 rage, but will be stunned if he ran too far or hit a block hard enough to stop his charge sandstorm in bottle is reworked to spawn 2 sandstorms around you, just like how ancient remnant does

There are two effects that I don't know: the effect the tornado gives to the mobs (I remeber something inverting your controls, but I'm not sure it works on AI) and the blazing thing of Ignis. Does anyone knows how they work?

8:29 the annihalator doesn’t have high chance of critical damage, it make the critical damage (jump and then attack) higher.
