What I got at OMG and GW Haul (A long one)

- Hey Sas, thrifties. Got another haul showing you items I got from my last OMG thrift trip and a few other items I got from Goodwill. I spent some time in the Men's section at OMG but I only got a few items there. The inventory that day was good. I will also show a couple of items I got from my last trips at GW. So enjoy!
Lol... YUP... been there before with a past fellow office worker who approached me like 3 different times to tell me that "I don't have to dress up for the office... it's a casual working environment." ... and to think I wasn't even wearing sequin or anything bedazzled... just my usual dated/classic, vintage and retro finds that I put together and wear as my "work clothes" including the classic pants suits and skirt suits that you see being worn by the stylishly professional secretaries and business women of the 70's, and 80's and as demonstrated by shows like the original Dallas and Dynasty. Fast forward years later when I was transferred to a different department, it was like deja vu when a office worker within that department said the same thing... "Oh, you don't have to wear a suit to work... we're a jeans and t shirt dress code around here." In my mind both times, I was thinking to myself, "...so wear your jeans and gym shoes and be casual. I'm not even 'dressed up'." Instead, I replied to the first case in more detail after her third approach, "Yes... I know. But I'm comfortable wearing what I wear because these ARE my work clothes so I'm ok." The one in the new department pretty much got the response "Oh I'm OK. Thanks." ... as I did to the first lady twice before, lol.
Good for you. Yes keep your sense of style and how you love to dress. If it makes you happy. Also, I loved the 70's 80's era too. I usually mix trendy with vintage. Thank you for watching!
@lkofie6670 Good for you! LOL😅I was accused of being an undercover boss because I continued to wear my suits & all my clothes to work! While everyone else wore jeans 👖 tshirts & those darn leggings🤦🏽♀️ I loved to dress up for work & I also parked with upper management because I received a horrible medical diagnosis & could not walk far & they had to change my parking. So, people REALLY believed that I was an undercover boss😆 I stopped disputing it. I'm no longer working but I still dress up every single chance that I get. All of my slacks were too long because I wore them with heels 👠 so I did donate most of them but the ones I kept are fire 🔥 & I had them altered to wear them with my loafers & graphic tees, etc., but I still get so many compliments. Especially when I go through the ER & at all of my Dr appointments 😂😂😂🛍 I will continue to wear what brings me joy😉 & you do the same!😊

As I am watching your haul, I'm getting my own items out of my Goodwill and Salvation Army bags from my thrift trips 😄.

Great thrift haul! As always, you found some unique pieces. My favorites are the Fila bag, silk scarf, and the long denim coat dress.

I love your videos they can be long or short I have been thrifting my whole life I wear my items I have been called different unusual weird but it doesn't bother me I continue to Thrift and where my items and it makes me happy and I'm happy to see your videos continue the good work the good work❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I am the same way too. I love wearing my clothes, and get asked why I'm all dressed up. Some people think it's for attention. Nah, I'm married and don't plan on changing that. I just love being ready, I won't even go grab milk. This is the way I've been since I remember. My mother said since I was a little girl, I have always loved being dressed up. Back then I loved my dresses, now not so much. I rather all things pant/capris related. Even on days I just stay home, I shower get ready and change into a clean pair of pjs.

I was wondering the army print vest, that you were in your "school days videos" did it come as a vest or did you cut the sleeves off. I have never seen a army print vest! Hello, yes, the army print vest the sleeves were cut out. I haven't come across any camo print vest so I make my own as well as cropping them out of jackets. Thanks for watching. Welcome to Sas thrifters.
