Hey my name is French and I was very happy when I had two French teachers in cooking school to pronounce my name properly because people really don't know how to say my name here then all those Shaniqua type names happen and someone called my name ghetto and I was like it's FRENCH ! I also visited France when I was in cooking school and saw a street with my name it was cool.

I always struggled with the pronunciation of French names, I have a Belgian friend with the last name Depraslin, it's pronounced Duh-Pah-law but to English speakers it sounds like "Deh-Praz-lynn" lmao. Dutch names aint so easy either just look at my last name 😂
