Good Tutorial. But why to hassle, you have the new reflection tool in objects in Illustrator, where you get 3 reflection options and mirror is one of them.
What are you even trying to say?) Is 5 minutes TOO LONG for you? Well don't watch then! I personally find this tutorial very clear and nicely explained, with every important detail and "why did we did it this way and not that way" being talked through, so that you know exactly, what you're doing and why, and not just mindlessly copy actions withought second thoughts.
I've been using the mirror tool previously to do some symmetry design work but this technique, sample, and explanation were really amazing, thanks!
Nice tip! I used to do stuff manually via Transform => Reflect.
this is AWESOME (and incredibly useful). Thanks!
Concise and straightforward. Thank you!
Thank you for this useful tuto.
Concise and perfectly useful, just like your other videos. :)
Awesome!
Thanks!
Just liked it, very useful!
There are some other techniques but this is the simplest.
TKS!
How do I connect vector points to make the blade of the sword one piece?
Thanks for this! It really helped me.
It was super helpful.
Danke.

Thank you.
4:01 why does expanding object give me two different shapes?
very useful , thanks a lot
Why is my object separated in the middle by a fine line (after I transform)? I don’t understand
THANK YOU 🥰
can i return to transform setttings and change e.g. the symmetry achse?
when do a curve with this technique, the end point wont touch each. how to manage that issue?
you can expand then select that two points, right click, Join
is there anyway to do three way symmetry if you get whatim saying.. like atm i want to reflect 2 other sides in a triangular based shape.. any help?
Amazing techniques 👍
select a --> double click on anchor point to move single anchor pint
Nice, but tip: to get into isolation mode just double click the group - way quicker. To get out by double clicking anywhere empty outside it.
Nice teachings..
😀Nice! Thank you
Can you do this in affinity designer?
Yes but only with paint brushes in the Pixel Persona

Why? Why can't we just simply have a live symmetry mode? You know how complex this is going to get to do this to very ornate designs?
Wow
First
Wdf is this too long to explain
What are you even trying to say?)
