Hello Christian. Thanks for your vidéo . Could you recommend me a paper map to ride by bike. I m going to wales next year, from Cardiff to Snowdonia. Thank you. Laurent .
Hello Laurent, thanks for watching my video. Did you know this is part 2. Did you see part 1 and the return journey along the coast. Very nice. To answer your question, there is a route called Lon Las Cymru which takes you from Cardiff to Holyhead going through Snkwdonia too. You would need a gravel bike or a hardtail for that route. It follows route 8 on the Sustrans national cycle network so you won't see much traffic. I have already done it if you have any questions. If you Google Cycle Travel Map it will give you the exact route which could be downloaded onto a garmin or phone. Also you can put Komoot app on your phone and it will navigate you turn by turn on phone or garmin. I don't use paper maps anymore as these methods are far easier. If you want ordinance survey maps for free there is an app called Backcountry Navigator you can download the relevant sections and navigate off line. Otherwise ordinance survey adventure maps would suffice 1:50 scale is good enough. Hooe that helps. Good luck with your adventure 😊
