This reminds me of the first scene in the Gene Wilder / Richard Pryor comedy STIR CRAZY (1980) where Richard Pryor is working as a waiter at a dinner party and accidentally has the guests’ food spiked with his stash of marijuana in place for the oregano.
@Matthew Barry It takes several hours to evaporate off all the alcohol in a sauce when cooking, certainly much longer than you want to cook salmon for. Even after half an hour 35-40% of the alcohol remains.
It’s like that scene in When Harry Met Sally, where sally was waiting for her ex to marry her, but only to find out, after their breakup, that it’s not that he doesn’t want to get married; he just doesn’t want to marry her. Floyd is a mean guy...
wait what happened after? All I know is that Floyd ended up marrying his fiancee at a cathedral so at least Floyd did Liz the favor after all. But Liz ended up attending it because the fiancee asked her LOL.
If he's getting the sauce on the side to be 'healthy', how come he got drunk off aforementioned uncooked sauce if he wasn't going to eat it? Or even if he was consuming a lesser amount? And if he was using the entire side of sauce then why not just let it be applied to the salmon before being cooked as the menu suggested?
