    If both abs and psm light it is the abs control module the black part on top of the abs valve body .the repair is around $250 bucks for a rebuilt unit with yours as the core return. Note : it's held on with 4 torx screws either 15 or 20 torx . Real easy 😅

    Do yourself a favor and get a proper alignment at shop that specializes in alignments.

    I know you get tons of different suggestions, but look at your brake pedal switch for the intermittent PSM ABS if it returns. If not, I can't remember if you've looked at your speed sensor, or ABS sensors.

    Had very similar issue with my 2013 Cayenne Turbo. It reported PSM Failure, but OBD-II scanner provided nothing useful. Eventually poked around and saw misfires, which led me to replacing coils and plugs. Bingo. Without a Porsche-specific code reader, you’ve got to be a real detective.

    Congrats finding that leak! Im having a similar nagging issue with my miata and it takes away from the pleasure of driving the car. I know how good that feels to finally resolve somehting like that.

    Hi Matt, your front arms are on the wrong sides of the car! Swap them over left and right and the caster adjustment on the puck will work!

    Matt, you should dedicate this channel to all things porsche. Possibly even getting different years/models of porsche as projects. I think you may find yourself with a larger more dedicated audience. Just my opinion but i seem to not be as interested when your working on your truck or BMW.

    I have the same floor mats. My car came with the factory Porsche mats, but I live in WA state and with all the rain, there's no way I was going to run those. I needed something that was waterproof.

    Have you ever had an issue with those quick jacks? I’ve seen others that have actually had cars fall so I’d be careful and use stands as backup

    In 2 years you can register it as a vintage car, and the money you save on insurance can be used to chase those “gremlins”. Hoovie use to say don’t fix everything, because that’s when something else will break.

    I vote that you sell the 996. You already have the 997 that has title/VIN issues, the LS swapped BMW, the truck, and the complete shitbox BMW. You’ll have your hands full, even if you sell the 996. Plus, you’ll have extra cash to put towards the other projects.

    I'm dealing with fender rubbing on my 987.2 Cayman in the same manner you are, I have the same Rennline GT3 control arms. I've heard that if you switch the arms left side to right side, the offset hole will be in a better position to reduce the caster. That being said, I have not tried it... this is just online chatter. Take it for what it's worth.

    What's your wheel offset and width? You shouldn't be rubbing.
    And it doesn't sound like rubbing. It sounds like clicking which makes me think CV joints.

      @@matt13ross how wide are the tires? If you are running 255/245 and 325/315 and you didn't have to do a little fender rolling in order to get them to fit then it's very possible you are rubbing. What are the offsets?

      It's good! Not super high suction like a standalone expensive unit, but it's great for the convenience

    Hi Matt. PCM ABS light is most likely your MAF. Either the sensor itself or wiring. Good luck!

    Had that same issue with that same hose! I couldn’t figure it out, so it cost me $3k and a month of down time for the shop to figure it out. Made a quick video on it:

    I bet the old hose was ok since other leakes took the pressure. Once you changed everything Else the old tube burst open. So allways change everything on old cars when it comes to tubing 😊 but yes time to sell, buy something that gets views like a... Hurracan?

    You’ll probably have to trim radiator brackets if the overall diameter of your wheels/tires is much larger than stock.

    FYI the brush issue is more to due with sediment being held in the brush. Applies to any washing cloth/brush etc. its just most commonly forbidden at the public brushes

    Those little vacuum hoses are a nuisance for all owners eventually. When people drop the engine to do any work they should go through all those vacuum lines and zip tie all of them.
