Worst part is, people go "I KNEW IT!" like they are some astronomical genius without even waiting. Its as easy as some random twitlonger and saying X creator harmed you to get them cancelled. It's actually stupid.

I think that there're two important details about Kwite's situation that the video failed to mention.
1. Kwite showed that Orion had previously talked about the encounter where the supposed assault had happened in a video years ago, and they talk very positively about it and do not mention Kwite trying to make any advances at all.
2. Orion was the actual manipulative one and who was pushing for sexual stuff between them, and also has been trying to ruin his reputation, specially in his inner circle, for a while before the twitlonger

And it's disturbing since other UA-camrs were being accused of the same crime too (ex: Dan from Game Grump, Vinny from Vinesauce, etc) along with the fact that now it's even harder to prove that what happened to you did indeed happen and that it's genuine now due to so many false accusations being made to everyone who's even remotely famous.
As for seeing it nearly happen irl, it's not cool whatsoever because my own brother was nearly falsely accused of r-ing a girl in his school but thankfully no one bought it since she had no evidence and already had beef with my brother anywho so that goes to show how nearly easy it still is to ruin one's life and label them as something that they themselves can't remove once they're in the system despite if it's false or not.

Dude I saw the Slazo situation unfold in real time, because I followed a bunch of commentators on twt back in the day. I was shocked and devastated. Also seeing the ppl who would come out and defend chey was surprising to me, since I also used to watch some of them. The Slazo situation also exposed a lot of other ppl as well, like Hyojin being manipulative and racist, and Weest basically refusing to apologize, even tho Slazo was proven innocent by the end.
I think we can all agree that it’s coming to the point where we can’t identify what is real or not. Not only do the fakes tend to get more recognition (bc they’re mostly aimed at larger creators), but the real ones get forgotten about. It’s honestly disgusting.
