Rosie is seriously a hero. Probably because she stayed there with her and didn't panic is the reason rose is ok. Good job for Rosie for being an amazing girlfriend. Rosie is a real life everyday hero for what she did

This is actually so upsetting, you can see Rose trying to be funny and light about the situation but it's just not working and it's the most heartbreaking thing to watch someone whose always so bubbly and happy and hilarious to be so quiet and sad. ...and BAM! This is where I got hooked on Rose and Rosie. I first saw them as a couple of cute, cuddly, kissy comedians...until I saw this. Rose tries to be funny at first, but watch her face as Rosie talks about how desperate she was to save her girlfriend, and she realizes the depth of love Rosie has for her. Her face says it all. GREAT VIDEO!

My mother is an EMT, and for any future reference for anyone, if someone starts seizing near you, try to get their head elevated, and if it's possible, roll them onto their side. The same goes if their throwing up blood or vomit, get them on their side until they empty it out, because if they can't get it out, it will choke them. You handled that really well Rosie, props to you. Much love

Every time I watch you joking "I'm kind of a big deal", I think "but... but you are!!!". Not because of the fame, the followers, or the awards; not because you're so funny, or because you help LGBT people. What really matters to me is that no matter how sad or lonely I can feel sometimes, your videos always always cheer me up. And that's priceless.

I'm a brand new subscriber. I came across your wedding day vid and have been hooked ever since. I can totally understand how angry this must have made you, Rosie, and I really hope those bloody useless attendants are bought to account for their (lack of) actions. I'm so glad you were on the mend quickly, Rose, and back to your usual funny self. I look forward to catching up with the rest of your videos soon. Pardon me using cliches but seeing you two together gives me the 'warm fuzzies' and with the world the way it is, I see that as something to cling to. Your warmth and humour just radiates out of the screen and I smile every time I watch you. Not exactly for this video as the subject matter wasn't exactly cheery but now I'm babbling.....

Anime Kita Of course. I know I am probably too strict about that. Trouble is, it serves nobody if you lose your fingers while trying to help someone. And I, being an Epileptic myself would feel bad forever for biting someone‘s fingers off. My remarks are not meant to be judgmental at all, I try to make people aware of possible situations and perils when encountering a cramping Epileptic. Additionally, if you put your fingers in someone‘s mouth during a seizure, the matters aren’t just bad for you, you could make them even worse for the person you are trying to help. Just to make it very clear: Rosie is not to blame at all, she tried her very best and to the best of her knowledge and was in an extraordinary situation, which I really hope she will never have to face again in her life. What I wrote is meant to be a help to everyone, and my intentions weren’t to blame or shame anybody, but to provide knowledge right from an affected person, so other people can act accordingly if they ever need to, not more, not less either.

Glad you're feeling better Rose and that wasn't a joke when you said that you're a big deal. You are, we all love you but none more than Rosie. That was heart breaking to watch. So glad you're ok and so sorry you missed your big day. Just means you'll have to make it a yearly thing!

I remember hearing Rosie say in another video that she'd taken a first aid course before, hence her keeping calm and helping as it happened. I don't want to get all deep but fuck me, those initial actions may well have saved Rose's life.

I have the same problem Rose, I black out and start convulsing, then come around and got no idea what happened, it's just like I've blinked then everything has changed around you.
Really happy you're better now though, seeing Rose upset is the worst thing ever.

this is insane because ive seen this video before but now im watching it and realizing last summer i had a really similar experience??? like i relate so hard to what rosie's saying about how it felt
i felt the fatigue she's talking about and especially when she said "i thought, 'why wont my body work?'"
I have low bp too, so one morning i blacked out in the bathroom and somehow got into the hall, I was like wailing "whats happening to me??" because i couldn't form any coherent thoughts, and the next thing i remember i was flailing on the ground with my sister above me and she thought it was a seizure but actually i just had no control of my limbs so i was desperately trying to get control of them which resulted in them just spazzing around, the whole time to only thing i could say was "whats happening to me?" over and over again because i had no fucking clue and i was only like half-conscious.
My sister managed to calm me down so i stopped moving, and the part i remember most was when she left to get my father and i just lay there totally still, not wanting to move because i was absolutely terrified if I tried to move i wouldn't be able to, and that it would trigger another episode, so i just sat there, staring at the ceiling, not sure when I'd started to cry but i knew i had because my face was wet, and not able to trust my own body. So the scariest moment of my life to date was forcing myself to try and move my own hand.
Anyway no one cares but the doctors (still) had no idea what happened and it was just really comforting to know somebody had a similar experience.
But actually the worst was every fucking ER doctor and their mom asking me to recount the story so i had to go over it a billion times, and i cried each time i retold it because it fucking sucked. I imagine you guys had to go through a similar thing and I'm glad you told it to us one last time, trust me I know how hard it is :)

I know that this was 6 years ago, and really glad that Rosie's ok, but for anyone watching this I'd really recommend people take a First Aid course. Whether a work one, St. John's, Red Cross or a private tutor doesn't matter. First Aid courses teach you what to do in these situations and how to respond. Why First Aid isn't taught in school is beyond me. It could literally save someone's life one day from what you learn.

I watched this video when it came out, but randomly coming back to it years later, a week after I was in a pretty harrowing car accident and had to get my fiancé on the scene... it's oddly affirming? Just the way you guys are going back and forth between seriousness and jokes, and the fact that you're clearly working through this traumatic event together... I don't know, I think I can just relate to it a bit more now.

So glad you're alright Rose. Rosie did an amazing job, it takes a lot to be brave in the face of these types of situations. I hope some repercussions happen to the attendants who didn't help, they're complete assholes and I'm sure the community here won't be quiet about it. Much love.

Putting myself in Rosie's shoes of them shutting the door of the ambulance and waiting thinking the worst and you not being in there. So unbelievably scary. But I'm so glad that rose is ok now and I hope nothing like this happens again. Kissing my wife extra tonight thankful for her.

And Rose it's obvious that you were disappointed with how things worked out but we can all see how much work you put into it and we are just glad you're okay. Years later this still hits me hard. I have epilepsy. I’ve landed myself in hospital with it on more than one occasion. One time I didn’t show up for work, and wasn’t answering calls. Knowing that I have epilepsy they raised a welfare check. They called my mum who said she couldn’t go through this again she was freaking out she can’t drive and I live away from them. My best friend at work called my partner and told her the police were coming and they may have to break the door down she was like yes of course break it down and raced back from her job hours away. Her mum came over, I barely knew her at the time but she helped with the police and ambulance I was naked and talking so much rubbish and she never breathed a word about that part to anyone. I wasn’t ‘in this world’ as Rosie said for a couple of days. My memory was waking up in hospital in a room of my own and doctors all around with masks and being carried to a chair to go to the toilet in it and the pain of the spinal tap. I couldn’t speak or walk for a week. I remember the terrified looks on my loved ones faces and I didn’t know what had happened I apparently said I was in pain when they asked where I said ‘in my chain’ (lol) and repeatedly asked for Diet Coke and thought it was 2008. I have never talked about it publicly like this. I could’ve died. To this day I feel so terrible for putting my family and partner through that and I will never forget those looks. Sorry to tell my life story but I look at this video and look where Rose and Rosie are today and I’m so inspired. I’m getting back into work as a youth LGBT+ drug and alcohol counsellor, and I’m still with my amazing now fiancée. Thankyou so much for putting this out there. It reminds me of how lucky I am to be here, that it can get better, and most importantly how the actions by the people we love saves lives. If I had died, I would never have known anything other than going to bed the night before. Life is so short and precious, we don’t always get time and warnings. Hold your loved ones tight and tell them how much they mean to you. And if you’re going through any scary health issue physical or mental know you’re not alone and it can get better.

My boyfriend has epilepsy so I've definitely been in Rosie's shoes. Luckily I was first aid trained before I met him and had read up on epilepsy, but if I hadn't, I think I would've been terrified. If it happens again, just call the ambulance straight away and lay Rose in the recovery position- the recovery position will keep her airways open because it'll prop up her chin :) Also try to follow how many minutes it lasts- really important for the doctors. I've also had to tend to people in train stations when London train attendants turned their back to ignore it. It's just sick.

Wow. So happy to see Rose back in good health. This was a touching vlog and I could feel the emotions in both your girls eyes, mine as well. These events make people stronger, closer, a tighter bond in these moments of panic. You girls were meant to be together and it makes me happy to see you have both recovered.

It would be nice to get the video of the assholes that refused to help you. They should not have their jobs. Such cruelty in society and it seems to be spreading.

Rose and Rosie, thank you guys for making this video and explaining everything to us when it was obviously difficult for you guys to talk about and it's not something you really want to relive. I am so glad that Rose is alright now. It's sad that the fans who went to Rosweglyn didn't get to see Rose but most of all, I'm sad that Rose didn't get to go to something she spent months organising and being excited for. Rose and Rosie, we love you guys and thanks for everything you do.
